I can't search for old threads but I am certain there was a decent amount of discussion about this previously.

I'd like for someone knowledgeable to answer how Chandler's free agency will work in March when he returns from China. The Nuggets made a qualifying offer to him before the Lockout, so upon his return does he remain an RFA? Upon his return do the Nuggets still have his Bird Rights? If he signs the qualifying offer (pro-rated) will they have Bird Rights on him for his impending UFA this offseason?

I'd love the for the Rockets to kick the tires on this one, but that is not realistic. Instead, I was trying to get a better grasp of his situation. Thanks.

I like Wilson too. I think Wilson is everything we want Marcus Morris to become.

He's a RFA and Den would be crazy to let him walk. I really wanted him last season before the Melo trade.

Yes Denver would be crazy to let him go, which is why it's unrealistic to think the Rockets would have a shot at him. I'm just curious as to what his market is going to be in the offseason, and what Denver will be able to match (since they are going to have to resign both Lawson and Gallinari after resigning Afflalo and Nene this offseason)

Why not? Chandler can be an effective stretch 4. Talented kid. I'd love him as a Rock.

Denver's issue is how to get the three lost sons either back on their roster or used as (ahem) assets to benefit them as picks/players/combo.

Actually, I have another question, if Chandler and Brooks come back and play out their year on the pro-rated contract does that make them the URFA year after?

    Mann..

    Lowry/ Dragic
    Martin / Lee
    Chandler / Parsons
    Scola/ Pat
    Dale/ Hill

That would be a sick fun team to watch... Dunno about be contenders but we would be pretty damn solid.
