    I. Introduction
This is the official guide for those people that already play basketball. I decided to take my time to type up a mini guide for those who wish to become better basketball players and need advice. To describe my style: I am a point guard, who can do pretty much anything on the court -- score, pass, shoot, steal, rebound, block, defense, offense, etc. I believe that I can share some of my knowledge with the rest of you guys and help to immensely improve your game.

II. Good Offense(Top of the arc)
To get good offense you need to have more than one option. Remember that basketball is a chess game, in a way. If you have a good jump shot and fast speed, you can be a killer offensive player. What I like to do is stay around the top of the arc. Once I receive the ball, I will always pump fake to see how my defense will react. If he goes for the block, I am gone and scoring the layup. If he doesn't react, I will go for the jab step and apply the same strategy. If he ever steps back, I will just drain the jumper in his face. Also, I look at his feet to see which way I should go -- you should go the opposite direction of where his feet are facing. Keep in mind that if you have nowhere to go, pass the ball. A bad shot is like a turnover.

    III. Good Offense(In the paint)
My strategy for being a potent scorer in the paint is to just get a definite position and call for the ball. This is where my post game/fade away game comes in real handy. If my opponent weighs less than me, he is getting posted up and I will score the easy points. If my opponent weighs more than me, I will fade away and make the close fade away shot. There is nothing else I can say besides this. Just be aggressive and take your time establishing your position.

    IV. Lock-Down Defense
My advice for defense is to study your match up. Look for his weaknesses to make things easier for you. If you see that he struggles dribbling to the left, stand on his right side and force him to dribble with his left hand. Also, if he sucks at shooting, you don't have to play defense on him from far away. Normally, I am fine with giving him the open shot, if he sucks at shooting. Keep your eyes on the guys hips because that's the best way to play defense on someone. If the guy is Allen Iverson, you are fuuuked because the crossover tricks you into thinking he is going a different way. Also, make sure you slide with both feet at all times.

    V. Rebounding
This one is simple to explain. Getting rebounds is all about establishing position. Box out your man, push your man, and do whatever it takes to get the rebound.

    VI. Be natural
I became a far better player when I stopped forcing shots and just doing what I felt was natural. This might sound stupid but give it a try and don't force anything.

Now go out there and play the best basketball you have ever played.

    VII. Being a douche

Trash talking is essential in basketball, so every time you hit a jumper, be sure to hum the ESPN tune and say that made a "top replay." Remember, out douching your opponent is the way to go!
