Remember last playoffs when I asked you if you were on drugs when you said the griz had just as much talent/youth. I see now that has developed into jealousy

Time for us to go after Harden! They can't sign him or Ibaka to extensions with Westbrook getting that huge payroll.

Yeah seems like there was the same though process regarding The Grizz overpaying for Gay, Conley, and Randolph and we could sneak in and get Marc Gasol.

Look how well that turned out...

At some point they are going to be squeezed out. Ibaka/Harden, both can't stay at the money they'll get offered. They'll have to choose.

There's no way you don't give a player like Westbrook the max. And Westbrook is not the type to get lazy.

For all of his flaws, he is a hardworking and determined guy

I think Ibaka is the guy that is on his way out.

I would be AMAZED If they ever let Harden go...

    That guy has superstar talent...

OKC would be stupid to give ibaka an extension over harden. this okc team needs as much offense as they can get.

Good. Now we can stop with all the Westbrook trade speculations.

The thunder aren't near the dangerous team as they are now without their collection of forwards. There whole low post game is predicated on limiting the other team's points in the paint.

The thunder get by without having a true low post threat simply because they do 2 things really well. They get fouled a lot and the limit low post scoring.

I'd say ibaka is as crucial a key player as harden is.

Oh, no. The trade speculation has just begun and may very well end in a trade....of Westbrook.

    L.O.L.

To each his own, but i strongly disagree. You take out ibaka, you got collison that can do a pretty decent job. you take out harden, and who can bring in that scoring from the bench?

Forget sign and trade. Extension and trade?

"Westbrick" the selfish "head case" who "doesn't get along with Durant" ended up signing a 5-year extension without a "Rose" escalator if he makes the All-Star team and doesn't have an opt out. So he took basically the minimum available and agreed to lock into 5 years with KD. Seems to be contrary to the notion of being selfish and disliking KD.

you got dequan cook and eric maynor.

Do people realize that the thunder don't have a low post game? With teams that do have one you need more than collison and perkins. Being a primary jumpshooting team what saves the thunder is a heck of a lot of foul shots (coupled with a high percentage). They try to beat you at the line.

In 2 of their 3 losses they were beat at the line. Bottom line, you beat the thunder at the line you got a good shot at beating them.

I've never believed he didn't like Durant. What I see and know is Westbrook is a hothead under pressure. He blows up. And it's not pretty. IF...the Thunder blow under pressure in the playoffs and Westbrook is the main reason like he was this past playoff season, THEN it is likely they move him.

SMH. first of all, maynor isn't much of a scorer, he's a playmaker, and he's out for the year. Cook is good for 2 Three's a game and thats it. In my opinion, OKC should trade Ibaka for Ryan Anderson + Redick.
