LOL. How about taking the kid to the REAL doctors and or Scientists and leave him in a room being supervised without any idiots that's going to imprint those messages on the poor child.
LOL. are you really gonna sit there and say that his parents imprinted those messages on the kid... ? by the way, their parents were Catholic/Christian or Jewish, not sure, before that so your theory makes no sense.
Perhaps this should go to D&D. This reminds me of the story of the Old Man of the Mountain. To recruit new followers, his organization, the Assassins once buried men up to the neck who pretended they were dead. The old men would then "raise" the dead and make "decapitated heads" talk. They would then leave the room for a moment and other assassins would actually come and cut off their heads for real. I'm not sure how the kid got those markings or why, but I would never believe any supernatural events I don't see in person and in a controlled environment. The motives are irrelevant when it comes to proving the supernatural, meaning I don't care what his parents' religion were before or why they're doing it.
Maybe he has been blessed by the soccer gods with a golden leg. He has an great future lying ahead for him playing world class soccer.
This is just offensive and tiresome. Parents infected or scarred their kid, or are ignoring his condition, for the sake of attention. And an entire town indulges in it. The kid's gonna have one messed up psyche. First world, third world.
