No where near as explosive as a young Kobe or even the Kobe of today but the guy has game. I said it before he is like a Jamal Crawford.
He's got a nice offesive game but let's not go crazy putting up 22 on the Warriors is like putting up 22 in practice.
I don't think the video shows how he was particularly taking advantage of the Warrior's poor defensive rotations. Most of the time he scored, he seemed to be creating for himself. This is something we sorely need on our own team. Anybody know why he was taken so late in the first round?
i would like to know as well. He was a scoring machine, dropped 52 points last year. He is the 3rd best rookie of this draft.
I've watched him a few times, this season. He is a very good offensive player, and posibly 20+ ppg scorer, he's got decent athleticism, but he is very skilled in his offensive moves, especially with the pump fakes, up & under, and the bank shot.
Weird with his stock, he was projected to go in the late teens to early 20s on the mock draft sites. But, he actually went fairly late in the draft at 25th, and was traded from Boston for JaJuan Johnson (I know Boston was looking for a big man in the draft). Though, I have to say alot of teams right now could've used someone like Brooks.
