Valid point. Think about it the other way. Yao was a project by the government to produce the best basketball player. There was always the risk it could FAIL. Look at the Project Thabit Manka.
How would you feel about him? With all Yao's shortcomings, he turned out pretty well.

That would be too many pages that prove my point correctly, besides even though I know RTM doesn't like me, I don't want to over do it on his thread.

You should talk about the Hawks and the bird that flew off the bench.
    :)

I would say T-Mac led the streak. He was the best player during it.

Role players really stepped up though. Like Rafaer in the Lakers game.

I separate the fans from the player. I think Yao worked really hard to overcome his weaknesses and it showed. Unfortunately his foot injury cut his career short, but I loved it how he never gave up and always showed up for the team.
The tall dude in a suit at every game.

Like McGrady. I personally think he's a very smart guy.
I think oppositely of some of his fans.

I pointed out he wasn't even game 1. Subtract one game.

    game 5.

    Yao Ming 22 points.

Part of me thinks you enjoy McGrady more than the Rockets.

    Zboy,

you see the difference between us the Real Rockets fans vs the fake ones?

When the Rockets started the season 15-0, that year Hakeem won the MVP, DPOY, Finals MVP, we were just happy the Rockets won 15 in a row.

There was no chest pounding, hey give credit to Dream. We were just real fans unlike these guys.

When the 22 game winning streak came on, it was the opposite we notice all the other talent we had and how well the offense was compared to JVG's offense.

you can look them up yourself. You obviously don't care about any of those other players or coaches or city or team.

TMac was an amazing talent, but he never could carry the team anywhere when it mattered, then threw the team under the bus when we could have traded him for Carter and possibly taken the Lakers out in the post season. His selfishness got him a 1 way ticket out of Houston, I can not cheer for him anymore.

He is not a Rocket so in case you can't forgive and forget.
I always look at his family, his wife Clarenda Harris was nice, he did some charity. He sold his cars , had his own basketball court.

Nice contribution from Mac off the bench. Good win by Atlanta over a quality team in Portland.

Injured Tracy McGrady averaged 22 points + 5 assists + 5 rebounds per game during the streak, facing double-teams in almost every possession

That bum tinmac averaged 100 posts per every Tracy McGrady related thread

Who've made a bigger impact to this Rockets franchise?

    In 3, 2 , 1. Go

So was it a team accomplishment or a Tmac accomplishment?
