Thabust must spray his arse with fire r****dant before going to practice, much less games. Literally becoming the 4th string center and a fixture on the bench hasn't burnt his butt. All of McHale's efforts to light a fire under the guy, and he strikes me as one not to mince words, have come to naught.

Thabust's butt is made of asbestos.

They all suck, doesn't take a genius to see it

Thabeet suck the most, still looks lost unmotivated, outta shape, no hands, no offense, no nothing

Flynn suck second most, does nothing but mindless dribbling.

TWill has been up and down, had high hopes. But if you look closely, he's still the same old mentality of getting his, whether it's getting a shot or passing. Still can't play within the offense, even his passes are forced.

Jordan has been the least suckiest, at least he hustles and rebounds, and does have offensive spark here and there. Don't expect him to turn into anything special though.

Sink or swim my ass. Throwing Thabeet in the center spot is like throwing a Giraffe into shark infested water and telling it to sink or swim..

You don't waste time developing something that will turn into nothing. Might as well win some games because "old man Dalembert" is doing really well.

Le$ told Morey no tanking and keep trying to win, I would also like to see the team go uber young and live with the results.

But, Morey can't do that, so we have to live with the hustle team because Le$ wants butts in the seats and possibly playoffs.

These guys are adults and ostensibly professionals. That means you're old enough to use feedback to get better and not get all sore in the butt about it. If you can't take honest feedback like Morey just gave, then they were never going to make it mentally in the L.

I think even if Thabeet isn't NBA ready, throwing him out there for 20 minutes would help his trade value a lot...not all GMs carefully analyze every game played by every player and if they see that Thabeet has a high rebounding and shotblocking rate, they might be willing to give up something for that.

I don't think you have to carefully analyze games to know Thabeet sucks. He is what he is. He just looks so uncoordinated and you can see that in just about any of his games that he plays. His trade value isn't going higher. Besides, you're underestimating GMs anyway, no GM is going to just toss some good player at us looking at the boxscore of a game.

DD is right. Don't lower the trade value even further.

Well then what's the point of getting him in interviews? There's a line between confidential and non-confidential information, and I think DM and his staff walks that line very well (who saw the Gasol trade coming?). Saying "09 bets were disappointing" is like saying water is wet. Its obvious to everyone who watches Rox games.

Saying it will lower trade value is BS. The other teams aren't dumb, they have their own eyes and ears and can see what happens on the court for themselves. If DM said the 09ers are doing their best and Thabeet is gonna become the next Mutombo who'll believe him? Do you think Rich Cho is gonna hear the podcast, orgasm in his seat and then call DM to trade?

In fact, the only thing that'll happen is you'll have DD complaining about DM touting the company line and "telling lies to all the sheep that believe him". If you search the forum archives you'll probably see something like this from him.

Thabeet has 2 problems- foul trouble and he sometimes gets lost on offense,
Guess who else gets lost on offense- t-will, flynn, and jordan hill. Flynn just got here, so its understandable, the others just like thabeet barely got pt under adelman, so they are even surprised to be on the court.

How would you feel if you were flynn, jordan hill, twill or thabeet and u go for a contract extension or resigning after this season, and u r told no because ur performance was terrible. You wonder which performance- the one from no pt last season, or the one from this season when u were already mad at the organization.

The only way thabeet can learn about his foul troubles is by getting more pt. Johnny Flynn should be back up pg, while dragic moves up to back up sg, and c lee should get traded. Also, our new rookie should be starting or getting considerable pt (thats how you build a young player). You actually let him get on the floor and make those mistakes, and learn from his mistakes. A practice game is a controlled game. Its very different from an actual game.

We should be playing all our young players. Samuel dalembert should have never been signed, but now that he has been signed. put on the bench until its time to trade him. This is a very short season, put all your young players on the floor- what do you have to lose.

If they suck really bad- you get a high pick
if they do really good- u r in the playoffs

Either way, they are learning valuable lessons. Morey gotta learn how to start treating the players like grown men, not little boys.

And i dont curse @ people who disagree with me, i curse at people who disrespect me. the last one said jackass and i said dumbass. the other one called me a troll and i told him to read my lips and f.u.c.k. off. I'm not an internet gangster either. It just hurts to see the direction the rockets r going and have been on for the past decade. It sucks even more to see some fans that keep buying into everything the organization is doing without seeing that the organization is out there to maximize profits every season, which is why morey might not let the team tank and rebuild from the drafts.

I love the guys honesty. There is surprises with him. If i was Flynn or Thabust I would not unpack my stuff from the next road game. So its safe to safe at best 1 of the 4 will be back on a minimum deal.

He is right about PatPat, dude needs to return to his old form.

    +1

Jordan Hill is pretty efficient as a backup. Less is expected of him as well, & the level of competition drops to where he can be an assest rather than a liability which he would be starting. I have no great expectations for Flynn he was such a force at Syracuse but that hasn't translated to the NBA. Also was a totally different situations where he was asked to be everything on that team. Here we just need him to be a manager who limits turnovers, bring energy, & play intense d seems he can't come to grips with that & is overcompensating. Not to mention thinking rather than simply reacting. Thabeet I haven't quite given up on. I mean we have a development league we just sent Morris to. Why not do the same for Thabeet (maybe Mchale is have centers 101 sessions with him lol)? To allow him in game experience instead of film sessions (he can't benefit from watching others mistakes he's not that type of player/person), practice, & riding the pine. That can only do so much. Lastly T.Will smh. God this guy has an immense amount of talent. However talent only gets you so far one has to develop their skill by putting in countless hours to improve. I don't know if he has the work ethic though, basketball doesn't have to be complex nor do you have to be intelligent to excel (common misconception) it just takes diligence, dedication, & a vast amount of will. I pray T.Will can cash in on his potential with us. Otherwise may be journeyman for the rest of his career.
