one guy led us to a 22-game win streak. that meant a lot to me. it should mean a lot to all rockets fans.

You tell me not to be hard on the aging Spurs yet I find you here on a consistent basis. ;)
We drafted Carl whereas Tracy was a valuable journeyman...... I appreciated his "exotic" scoring.

Ok. That's why people still care about T-Mac even though he bleed Rockets red and no one really cares what Landry is doing right?

    Whatever.

Atlanta has had some impressive wins this year and T-Mac has been in the middle of most of them

if carl landry means so much to tinmac, tinmac should start a "carl landry in new orleans hornets uniform thread."

i don't think he'd post as much in that thread as this thread. hmm...

Yes, and there's no way we could have done it without Rick Adelman and his offensive genius.

I understand you are TOF. If he won the MVP or DPOY, that's an individual accomplishment.

The Rockets best streak before that was 15. Dream was on that team, but that was team effort with heroes stepping up every game.

I liked him cause he played with his heart for the Rockets, he never mcgradied them.
    I didn't start this thread. I won't start a Landry thread either.

There's no way we could have done it without Mcgrady playing at a high level. Don't diminish that.

I don't, but I won't give him all the credit like TOFs do. I don't blame him for all the loses either, but he deserves higher credit cause he got so many minutes and got paid so much . I like Yao and I blame his ass during the YOF invasion of Clutchfans, they all thought I hated the entire nation cause I said he wasn't a good rebounder at that time.

You know how these threads go.

    Win - McGrady 100% credit
    Loss - McGrady 0 fault

that's when you know you are TOF

So mcgrady doesn't get much credit for the 22 game winning streak..well who gets the most blame for us losing in six to the jazz in the playoffs

You are right. Yao is my favorite player but for his size, he had short arms and he could not rebound frequently. He is not DHoward.....when it comes to rebounding, however you wouldn't call him a bad rebounder

He was fairly mediocre to good.

lol! if he deserves higher credit for the losses, why doesn't he deserve higher credit for the wins? did they play him more during the playoffs and less during the 22-game win streak?

gotta love the hypocrisy from tinmac!

During the early part of his career, he had been outrebounded by midgets.
Yao even said so during his bad games.

The point is the YOF like the TOF refuses to believe their hero has faults or bad games. Many of them don't even watch, they just come here to 'defend' him.

I post enough to know who the TOFs are here, and to their credit, they do watch the games.

One game, where Yao got badly outrebounded back in the day was against Boston. I put out bait to a YOF and asked him how Len Bias out rebounded Yao. He responds with basketball answer.

Len Bias is dead. YOF never saw the game.
