I just don't get the logic. There was a thread not long ago about Chuck Hayes' heart condition. Some guy came in there trolling and 'poking fun' and was unilaterally despised because of it. As he should have been. It seems as though ClutchFans insistently recognized the disrespect and addressed it. No complaints or need for "consistent rules or guidelines." Is disrespect not.... Disrespect? I understand that everyone may not take as big an issue about this as I do. But, don't act like I'm coming from left field when I address it.
You are actually preaching to the choir, I wholeheartedly agree, but I don't believe a message board of respect generates a whole lot of clicks or interest. We live in a "Gotcha" world, where keyboard warriors are out to make fun of others to make their E-penis bigger. My point was that perhaps we should lower our expectations as such. DD
And mine is that we all need to accept that people are going to play gotcha and crack jokes, but if the forum rules specifically prohibit us from talking about certain topics that should include posters making fun of beliefs. A poster making fun of or saying there is no God should be just as much of a violation of the rules as another poster trying to convert you.
We have our fair share of hot new anchors here in Chicago... but it'll be nice to add Daniella to the list.
