<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_HgMNU45HTU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> it's *****in sad.
For that matter why post the names of the parents? We don't know the circumstances of the home life. It just seems wrong to presume they are the product of bad parenting.
Your link is broken... Here is the story: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...robbed-in-bridgeport-20120116,0,1288795.story In my opinion: NO. It seems to have been "stabilized." It's evident in the last few frames and how it's slows down... but still the video is plenty of evidence to put these <s>dudes</s> thugs behind bars.
^ Good one, sir. Here's the story on WGN after "someone sent it to them", according to the reporter... http://tv.chicagotribune.com/2012/youtube-video-shows-youth-kicking-beating-teen-in-bridgeport/

I was thinking the same thing when I read that quote, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in that this type of thing probably happens more than it should, but there are more resources into this than usual because of the public pressure/visibility of the case (as a result of the video).
At first i was mad and if this story is valid then i guess karma is a B**** but still TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT B****ES
Either that kid has a granite chin or all those kids have pillow fists. I remember hitting and getting hid harder as a high-schooler. Kids these days are soft.
The video didn't seem to reflect that. I know if I came after somebody that jumped one of my friends I would be sure to tell him as he's getting beat down what you're doing it for. They were just talking about taking his jacket and money.
I don't want to negate your experience and I'll concede the overall logic of this post, but they did ultimately stop. I'm not saying that to be snide or disingenuous, I honestly think there are certain situations where you can assume there isn't an intent or even likelihood of fatal or crippling injury. I still don't like the idea of this kid (considering they all looked like teenagers) or an inordinate number of people walking around with guns or even intending or expecting to kill.
