I'm really glad kids these days are so out of shape and weak and play so much video games. Otherwise the victim could've been seriously injured with 7 people beating on him.
I've lived and worked in crime infested areas that allow and don't allow guns. I used to run a night route throughout the back alleys of downtown Baltimore for over a year. If you're allowed, you should carry if you live in such areas. Even though it's not a hot button topic anymore, crime still exists. That kid was lucky. As long as there are thugs who rob, assault, and murder, citizens who are just going about their business ought to protect themselves. At the very very least, this kid should have had some pepper spray. You call that "a neighborhood school thing"...I disagree. He was lucky that he was able to run away. Did the thugs appear to be stopping? They could have beaten him to death.

I'm surprised he didnt get seriously injured, as he hardly protected himself. I can't understand why he was taking the beating like that, it seems like he almost was expecting it. Maybe he did something to "deserve" it? What is being said around the 2:00 mark? I think that white kid would have annoyed me so much i would have just made sure to knee his nose in.
