Best since Stevie. I'm not ready to say he's better than Steve was until he keeps this up for an entire season.

Oh lawd... Well at least you're persistent/consistent. I'll give you that much.

As a pure point guard he's better than the Franchise, but not overall as a basketball player. Francis was another one of those "if he was just a bit taller and bigger he'd be a great SG".

Lowry is superior to Stevie Turnover, Ball Hog, Dribbling out the Clock, Walking the Ball up the Court, Piss Poor Defense and even worse Decision Maker Francis.

Francis did all the things you don't want your point guard doing better than most.

Steve Francis is the absolute all time best example of how stats can lie.

It's funny. Lowry has similar rebounding #s to what Francis did during his time in Houston. But Stevie Franchise got criticized a lot for putting too much attention on his rebounding and not getting out on the fast break to try to create easy buckets. Lowry doesn't get that criticism because he does BOTH. The guy is a monster on the boards and still pushes every chance he gets to get fast break points. He really is a complete player.

    This is Steve Francis's game.

Dribble the shot clock out. put up a shot. or turnover.

Yep. This alone shows that Lowry is better than Francis.

When Lowry gets a rebound, he immediately pushes up court. When Francis got a rebound, he held the ball, looked around, and then walked up court. Steve's brain is slower than his body.

Francis played And-1 basketball. He provided great content for highlight reels.

Brent Price..... okay, best since Steve Francis. Francis averaged 20pts, 6 rebs, 6 Asts average a game with the Rockets. Lowry is averaging around 16pts this season, 9 Asts, 42% from 3pt and 2 steals a game. No doubt Lowry is having the best season for a PG ever for the Rockets.

Looking at names, stats and Highlight film will not pick out the best player and rarely show you all the warts. Steve was could score and rebound. He was a not a good passer, could not run and offense, turned the ball over, ran down the shot clock and end the end was not a winner. He was not a good point guard.
