I like Sam's passion so far. If he can play with fire like this I see him becoming a franchise favorite.

Consummate professional, friend. You're understating Dalembert's professionalism by not saying that.

Pleasantly surprised by his play thus far.

Expected a filler that could block shots, but he is getting it done.

I hope he is like Dikembe in that he can play til he's 40+

He just needs to stay out of foul trouble and everything else will lake care of it self.

I am not going to lie, I was not happy when we picked him up before the start of the season as I felt he was a consolation prize after getting our trade for Pau vetoed and getting outbid for Marc Gasol. However, Dalembert has been very effective for us this year. glad we picked him up

I'm not surprised with Dalembert if you truly watch and understand the game then the way he plays with the rockets wouldn't surprise you. He's in a system where he can play free and he's comfortable here. He has offensive skills when he gets the chance to show them.

You get more bang for your buck with Sam over Pau.

Dalembert has played well. The negatives about him were already known...
-Tries to go to crazy offensively sometimes...
    -Some foul frustration

But I really like the guy. If we don't get the chance to bid for a max free agent. I am fine with us paying the guy next year and ever a couple years after at 6-7 Million a year.

Winning makes everything better. As currently constructed, we're still a 6-7 one and done playoff seed.

We should have picked him up as back up for Yao, instead of Brad Miller

You mean replacement :( But yeah with Hayes and Dalembert we could've been the Grizzlies of last season. In hindsight now, we could have resigned Hayes and signed Dalembert for cheaper that what we offered Marc Gasol.

Sad Dalembert wasn't considered first. He never turned the 20/10 guy I thought he could be, but he has been super consistent the last 6 years. Pencil in 25 minutes, 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. And most of all, he's missed a grand total of 2 games in the last 5 seasons.

I think the reason Dalembert chose the rockets is because we wouldn't put any pressure on him to be a player he is not. When he got his big contract from Philly, there was a lot of pressure for him to be an all-star type player. Here he's just responsible for rebounding and protecting the lane. Any offense from him would be bonus. Just catch some alley oops and dump passes for easy 2's.
