Great year, first playoffs ever, first home playoff game, first victory, and playing the Ravens to a stand still on their turf with a rookie QB.

Yeah, this team will be the SuperBowl Favorites next year, out of dissappointment comes dedication and willpower - all we need now is health.

If we're healthy next year, we'll actually be able to make a Super Bowl run.

If Wade goes for a head coaching job somewhere else... we won't be able to replicate our success.

Hopefully Shaub stays healthy and Yates never sees the field again.

Long NFL playoff droughts, longest time since last making the playoffs.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...n_droughts#Longest_active_post-season_drought

    Code:
    Longest active post-season drought
Team	Last appearance in post-season	Seasons
Buffalo Bills	1999 AFC Wild Card Playoffs	12
Cleveland Browns	2002 AFC Wild Card Playoffs	9
Oakland Raiders	2002 Super Bowl XXXVII	9
St. Louis Rams	2004 NFC Divisional Playoffs	7
Every other team has ONLY BEEN OUT for FOUR YEARS and LESS

So Texans will probably never have a DECADES PLUS wait time AGAIN.

BUT, there are no guarantees in the NFL. Need to go as FAR as you can go EVERY YEAR. Cuz careers in the NFL dont last long.

I want to see THIS CORE make it. I want Andre and Arian to do well NOW before careers end and unfortunate injuries might happen. Thats what football is about. So next year seems like a LOOONG time off.

I think we have the same schedule next year difficulty wise as this year. Get a healthy Schaub back and hopefully Andre and Arian don't get plagued by injuries. Keep Kubiak and Wade together. Go and plug some of the glaring holes on the team and the sky's the limit.

I guess it was too much to ask they go and win a Super Bowl for our first trip to the playoffs. Gotta pay your dues and we did that in spades this season.

Cut the dead weight of Jacoby Brick Jones and Cream Jackson, draft a real #2 WR, sign a nose tackle for depth, and make sure TJ Yates finds a spot on the bench that glues him in until the game clock hits 0.

Lol 5th round qb rookie vs great defense in SECOND round of the playoffs. I hope we trade him so he gets an opportunity elsewhere or keep him to be matty's successor

I would like us to draft Case Keenum as the eventual successor. That would be pretty damn boss.
