I think we out played the Ravens on that side of the ball today. I think when fully healthy we have to be in the running.

    Discuss.

In no particular order: Niners, Texans, Ravens. Maybe, maybe no Pittsburgh

I probably would've said Pittsburgh until they got Tebowed. New England neutralized Tebow easily and they have an awful defense.

I'll just go out and say it.
    Texans
    Ravens
    Niners
    Steelers

If the Texans keep Mario, they should be in the discussion each and every year... they do, however, need to work on forcing more turnovers.

Defenses can be stifling and give up 0 yards... but the ones that are most opportunistic in terms of turnovers, regardless of yards given up, end up winning the most games.

Texans obviously have the best defense! The only reasons we lose to teams sometimes is because of our offensive mistakes (ex. Jacoby Jones today vs. Ravens)

    Fixed.

Texans were in the discussion this year with Mario being out for most of it. I shudder to think of how much better we could've been with him healthy and getting better at playing linebacker.

Right... and they should try to keep him because of how much BETTER they could be with him. They should not be content with how they were still good without him. Guys like him do not come around very often... he's still young, and still very good. He didn't have anywhere close to a career threatening injury.

Get an upgrade at CB #2 and then the Texans will be the best in the league.

    We do.

It's a Super Bowl caliber one even without Mario. Which isn't to say I want him gone by a longshot. It will be interesting to say the least how they handle him. I would imagine he'd bring 2-3 #1's. On the other hand, if we keep him (and he stays healthy), the Texans are Bears like dominant on D.

49ers right now, their secondary is better. Texans really need to upgrade over Jackson. I don't care how much better everyone thinks he was this year, he's still not a starter in the NFL. He has no ball skills, and those don't magically appear.

What I do like about the Texans is that all their best players are really young.
I don't think there is a starter that is not 2-3 years away from 30.

Texans. If you ask on this board we will say texans. If you ask on the ravens board they will say ravens. Ask the 49ers fans, they will say 49ers.......

Ask the Saints or Pats which defense would they rather play against?

I voted for the Texans but the 49ers probably inch them out, because they have some of the best tacklers in the LB and safeties.

Who ever did not pick the 49ers obviously doesn't watch football and a Texans bandwagon.
