You'd have to keep the Nets from laughing and hanging up in your face if you offered them this straight up first.
I would laugh right back at them. have you seen them play. DWill doesnt want to be there. he's not playing inspired basketball. Given the first chance DWill will jet away from that franchise. They can ahve the name, we'll keep the production and the heart.
To be fair, though, it's still early... I'm sure Williams will turn it around at some point, especially if they get him some help. Hopefully Lowry continues to beast, though.
Why isn't Lowry listed in the steals column on Yahoo Sports? He avg's 2/game but his name isn't there. Same thing for points and even rebounds. He's listed for the assists and TO. He clearly does qualify to be in each of those categories. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/stats/b...ence=NBA&year=season_2011&sort=37&qualified=1
What does Lowry have to do to get national recognition? I am watching the Suns - Spurs game on ESPN and they talk about the West and then they go on to mention Ty Lawson and how good he is and blah blah blah And I sit there wondering what about our very own KLow
Funny thing is that with Orlando's 2009 Draft pick, Memphis selected Demarre Carrol, who they would later trade to us along with Thabeet for Battier. Comes with your team having a good record. We'll get there soon enough.
Can anyone give an update on the Kyle Lowry Battery Case? Is he pretty much playing up until February and then probably has to take time off to deal with this?
You'd take westbrook over lowry right now? Are you on crack? Don't get me wrong, I love the guy. He's been on a few of my fantasy teams, and I utilize him way more than I do Durant in 2k...but he is Steve Francis. We or any other team that has him running the show won't be a winner*. *Unless we have someone named Durant also on the team, and even that one might be an issue. Westbrook will likely butt heads with any other top notch player, unless they defer to him.
He has said that the Rockets had interest in him dating back to the draft, though. I assume that means he was high on their draft board. (He also said Sefolosha was tops on their board at #8 )
Brian Cook made it worth it. Poor Memphis. They used that pick on DeMarre Carroll, who they traded to Houston along with Thabeet and most likely higher 1st round pick for Shane Battier.
