Walter and jacoby should be cut. Need a huge up grade at wr and second cb. This team will be Superbowl bound next year.

Yeah, I don't think Steve was the sharpest tool in the shed either.

Another player, Luther Head. The bigger the game the smaller his sphincter gets, just like Jacoby.

Cut him he sucks. Don't want to hear that he's improved as a blocker or he's better than other team's 4th or 5th receiver. Cut him.

Jacoby came in the 1st quarter, Buckner came late in the game.

Not sure where the Francis comparison is coming from? Don't remember Francis making a huge playoff miscue, or Jacoby having made any all-star games.

I don't remember Francis playing football or Jacoby playing basketball.

That's where the comparison should have ended.

I remember Francis damn near averaging a triple double. Hey may have been overrated but he was at least a borderline all-star while Jacoby Jones is a scrub. Luther Head is a better comparison.

I feel bad for the city, the Texans, the fans...and I also feel bad for Jacoby. He was trying to make something happen and made a really bad snap decision. Can't change it. Can't change three interceptions, either. Gotta forgive the mistakes, leave repercussions to the team, and move on. Ugh...

And no, in my mind the Jacoby Jones situation and Bill Buckner situation don't compare. The stage in this case was not large enough. Had it been the the last set of plays needed to win the Super Bowl, then yes...but in this case, no.

But the outlook for next year looks really good, and we can at least hold on to that with a LOT to look forward to.

"Damn near" is averaging 9 and 8, not 7 and 6.

Myth? He ran a 4.5 without pads, and doesn't get separation on any of his routes. His 3-cone drill and shuttle times were also much closer to the bottom than they are to the top of the ranks.

What I don't get is that Jacoby has been doing stupid crap like this all season. He calls fair catch inside the 10 instead of letting it go. He lets it bounce and then tries to pull a fast one with catching the b0unce. He caught one punt over his shoulder. He still runs left right, and BACKWARDS. Why isn't special teams guru Marciano teaching him better??

No reason to pity him. He's been a factory of muffness for years. And it's even worse now that he tries to hit the home run every chance he gets. He hasn't developed his receiving skills or his mental fortitude or his maturity since getting drafted 4 seasons ago. His mistake gave them the ball at the 3 yard line. Unforgivable because he's not a plus in any other aspect of the game.
