Where did he even learn that crap? Even in wins it's always been annoying to watch. It makes me feel like a Jazz fan cheering for him. It's intentionally deceiving, or in other words, cheating. Hopefully he will adjust. As of now, a trade is out of the question unless we want to get garbage back.
Well, if he were netting 30 on the regular, he'd be Kevin Durant or LeBron James and we would all be happy campers. Never liked Martin or his game. I'm actually glad that the refs have swallowed the whistle and are not calling bail out fouls when the stickman runs into a defensive player, flops backwards, and tosses up a wild fadeaway. Hate that weak stuff.
Martin is a player of suck. He has no will and no zero defense. Two anti hall of fame qualities usually good shooters/scorers like him have.
I agree that McHale is a bad coach as far as X's and O's and doesn't know how to use Martin, but that's no excuse. A pure scorer needs to know how to get open and Martin too often doesn't. He has looked really bad this season, just going through the motions. His 3-point shooting is off and he's no longer getting to the line. Not looking good for K-Mart.
I think the problem with KMart is his lack of decision and he isn't playing as freewill as Adelman lets him. If he wants to be KMart again, he needs to let it loose. I thought I saw McHale put him on the second team against the Spurs probaly trying to lit him up, it didn't help second team are doing their thing. It may be McHale wants him to be something other than the 20pt scorer he was. As of now, Rockets will be losing if KMart isn't doing his thing.
I am so sick of seeing his skinny body just flopping around and that ugly jumper. He can't dribble, can't even create, nobody is falling for his pump fake this season anymore and he has instantly become useless.
Martin is actually shooting the two ball at a higher percentage this season...that implies he is adjusting and his 3 point shot just hasn't come around. We need to trade Martin as he is going to make us win too many games to get a good draft pick.
