How much longer until Bud is demoted to 3rd string?

Trade him to Minny for Rubio. Adelman can make him play like Larry Bird.

 

Bud is a confidence boost to the shooter he's guarding. Much agreed.

 

Bud is flat out garbage I don't care if he dropped 5 or whatever points tonight. He is a curse because every player good or bad ends up have career nights against this scrub. Bud hand in the face equals automatic score for the other team.


Notice ALL teams start feeding the ball to whoever Bud guards and they go off every single time?

If he's so bad how does the team always end up in positive numbers with him on the floor.

Parsons is better, but bud isn't a problem, a disappointment yes, but not a problem.

 

Bud just feels crappy because he has lost his stating job to a rookie. He needs to let this bother him and fight for it back!

 

Bud needs the ball. I thought Mchale was putting him in the 2nd unit to score, but he runs Kevin Martin out there to dominate the ball with the 2nd unit and Bud disappears.

 

Haters want to hate. Has Bud played bad so far this year, yeh. It's a new system and first time Bid has had a change of coaches professionally. His confidence might be lost but he can still play. He will find his groove eventually. When he does all the game by game bashers can chill.

 

What is his groove? He bursted out once or twice with 30 pts games and the whole board goes crazy. He excelled in Adelman's offense....that's about it.
Kevin Martin's decline showed that there is no Ricky in Town anymore.

and Bud is just meh.

Morris does need to play though.

Martin needs to go in a bad kinda way. he gets paid millions to be terribel.

 

CBud is a shooting guard, not a small forward.

Let's not forget that we have Courtney Lee and Marcus Morris to bring into this squad. Both are BIG, BIG improvements to our bench!!! There is a brighter future ahead of us this year even without changing the roster.

Really the bench squad should look like:

P.G. - Goran Dragic
S.G. - Courtney Lee (2nd Best Defender on time behind Lowry)
S.G. - Marcus Morris (1st Round Pick, Beasting in D-League)
P.F. - Patrick Patterson
..C. - Jordan Hill

In my opinion, that looks a hell of a lot better than no backup 2 guard and a guy who has shown he can dip into HUGE slumps for extended periods of time (Budinger).

 

Except he's not fast enough to cover any legitimate 2 guard (1st or 2nd string) in the league and can't create off the dribble.

 

We don't need him dropping 30 points a night. His groove comes when he can be a second option behind C Lee when he comes back. They fit together. Bud was out there playing with first team and hasn't got open. He will average 9 points or so off the bench when Lee gets back.

 

Watching this season I really think Ish Smith or Jeremy Lin would have worked really well.

 

When Twill has gotten minutes he's outplayed Budinger...I think Twill at the 3 spot would be an upgrade.

 

Sometimes I feel this place is devoid of folks who understand what is happening out there, and then a glimmer of hope shines through.
