If Daryl Morey could move any of Jordan Hill/Chase Budinger/Terrence Williams etc for a first rounder from the Hawks, I would be ecstatic. I feel like it would be something for Atlanta to consider too...
I don't any team are willing to trade their draw pick in the early season... other than Heat and OKC...
In all fairness, he looked pretty damn good with Cleveland last year. Baron Davis at 75% is enough to put this Knick team in a decent playoff spot.
I like where your heads at with this one, but not sure how much interest they would have in bringing back other players like Hinrich, etc., and Im not sure the level of intest they would have in a pick like this if they are giving up Hill who they might look at extending or getting more for in a trade. The Knicks pick will more than likely be lower than late 20's and the Rockets would probably like to give players like Morris, Parson, Terrence(if option picked up), Bud, Montejunas, etc. more playing time then they have had in the past. I dont know how many late 1st round/2nd round picks they will want to take on next year, but I assume they might only have room for one quality pick. I wouldnt be surprised if Dragic, Thabeet, get traded for low end picks by March to help out a team like Atlanta in the East thats still in the playoff hunt, but not at the cost of giving up Hill(whose option is likely to get picked up despite shaky performance so far in career) and taking on more salary. i wouldnt be surprised if they were 2013, or 2014 picks as well.
I think your right about sending Dragic and Thabeet out in a trade because more than likely they wont return next season. As far as them acquiring late 1st/2nd picks they will look to package the picks to move up in the draft like they did to get Motiejunas. If they were to draft Leonard if Morey is interested in this guy then I think it would be between Dalembert and Hill's option being picked up which I'd choose Dalembert and ship Hill out in a separate trade and must move Scola.
TNT said he's about a month away. What kind of record do you think the Knicks will have by then? Do you think there will be an adjustment period of Davis to get used to playing again and his teammates to him?
End of this month... Baron Davis isn't what he used to be, but he is an incredibly intelligent PG and a huge upgrade for them. His tempo control and court vision is top notch...
i still think the rockets draft is gonna be more valuable and higher than the knicks lol, the mofo irony
Knicks lose again today! I doubt they will miss the play-offs just due to the pethetic state of the Leastern Conference but there is a good chance the pick is 15 or 16 in the draft. With a little luck, maybe even a lottery pick!
Rockets are 5 - 7 Knicks 6 - 6 Rockets have had to face much tougher schedule so far. Hopefully it catches up with the Knicks
