It's laughable that people think Carolina whole offense was a read option. It was mainly a read option when the got in the redzone. You don't put up the passing numbers Cam did by strictly being read option.
Why not? The option is capable of passing for plenty of yards. It also helps to have a HOF wide out. I think you could add up Tebow's and Cam's wonderlic and it wouldn't come within 10 points of where RGIII will score. That doesn't have anything to do with playing football but it is obvious they dumbed down the offense so they could start their rookie and still win. It is a smart move, no reason to have him wait for a year or two just because they want to stick to some system.
Their offense was more pro style than people think. That HOF WR is also the same WR that most people thought was washed up before the season started.
Not even sure what that means and how it is an argument. How many teams ran more option than the Panthers? Possibly Denver but you have to remember Tebow only started 11 games and they were totally different with Orton. Back on the topic of Tebow. If Tebow mated: http://www.nfl.com/photos/09000d5d825e125d/09000d5d825e1944
Why did NFL.com do that? Can anyone explain? Weirdest thing I've ever seen on a sports league's website.
Most football players aren't that smart. Even Peyton manning supposedly the smartest qb ever got a 1030 on his sat. That is pretty terrible. Heck I was scoring a 1030 in eighth grade .
Well Manning is football smart, which is all that cam and Tebow need to get. Fitzpatrick is the smartest QB in the NFL.

We are all a witness. Tebow vs Brady II could have Super Bowl ratings. http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regional/view.bg?articleid=1395246&srvc=rss
http://instinctmagazine.com/blogs/b...first-openly-gay-pro-athlete?directory=100011 Could Tim Tebow Become America's First Openly Gay Pro Athlete?
Those aren't Tebow's arms. The whole American obsession with Tebow is becoming creepy. It really is. You got NFL.com morphing babies of him and various celebs (WTF?!?), you got people calling him gay, old ladies watching football because he is pushing his faith, etc. etc. etc. Creeeepppyyyy.
[rquoter]On Jan. 8, 2009, in the BCS Championship Game, then Florida quarterback Tim Tebow wore eye black with the inscription John 3:16, a reference to the Bible passage that says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." On Jan. 8, 2012, three years to the date that he caused millions of football fans to Google the meaning of John 3:16, Tebow played his first playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. And … Tebow threw for 316 yards. Tebow averaged 31.6 yards per completion, the highest single-game postseason completion average in NFL history. Ben Roethlisberger's second-quarter interception, which led to a Matt Prater field goal and a 17-6 Broncos lead, came on a third-and-16. The Steelers finished the game with a time of possession of 31:06. And at the time Tebow threw the game-winning 80-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas -- the NFL's longest postseason pass in overtime history -- CBS' final quarter-hour overnight ratings were, yes, a 31.6.[/rquoter]
