Now I want to listen to Across the Universe, but it's not synched up to my iPod. Damn you! *Edit* but the Jim Sturgess version is! Deal!
Say what you want about Kubiak, but he also holds the locker room strong. ..not always easy for all the years - see Del Rio, Fisher, Phillips, etc.
Maybe this is just another part of the overall signs and good omens that the Texans team and fans are finally "there" in many important ways...and that the rewards of loyalty are becoming more tangible (and I mean loyalty on a lot of levels and in many contexts, from fan loyalty to organizational loyalty).
We can only go by the reports and the reports say that Wade pulled out. We are celebrating that he'd rather stay with us and build upon this great defense. Is it wrong to be happy that you're not losing a great part of your organization?
I saw reports that the doctors removed a volleyball sized benign tumor from his abdomen. That's definitely not a simple procedure to cover from.
what in the sam hell are you talking about? hell, yes, i'm glad he decided to stay with the Texans. abso-freaking-lutely.
From Bum: http://www.battleredblog.com/2012/1/2/2678319/wade-phillips-had-tumor-the-size-of-a-volleyball
Holy hell. It encompassed his gall bladder and kidney, so he just "had them taken out"?? Jesus H. Christ he is one tough son of a b**** to be coming back to work just 2 weeks later. And one of the funniest comments on there was the guy who was wondering who would make the better coach: Frank Bush, or Wade Phillips' tumor. Lol
I think the funniest part of the whole saga was when someone asked Wade about it and he said something to the effect of "for those of you wondering, no, it wasn't a vasectomy."
DAMN! Wade just moved up the manscale in my opinion. Serious props to you to have that kind of surgery and be back that quick. Gold plated nads.
