Are the new rules the problem or the new coaches/system?

So you want to trade the best most consistent scorer we have? Really.

If we can get someone of nearly equal value? Why wouldn't we?

The problem is Martin thrives in certain situations. The way the Rockets are now, this isn't one of them. Not to mention dude's defense still makes me just facepalm. I really like him and I think he's an elite scorer but he needs certain players around him to cover up his deficiencies or to boost his strengths, and I don't think we have it in this moment of time and we can find a better fit.

Cmon now. its too early in the season. He hasnt been playing well like last year but you cant blame him. He was pretty much betrayed and put on the spot and almost got traded by D' Morey and came back to the team. His heart must be hurt. Give the guy some empathy.

So you wanted to trade him before he had his career best season and his value peaked.

Even worse, you wanted to trade him because you thought a midget shooting guard now plying his trade for the Guangdong Tigers would be a better option.

only you would brag about a prediction as embarrassingly backfirey as that....though to be fair, by your standards of prediction ultimate subterranean embalming mega battle death fail, it's only a poison arrow frog mild fail.

Hey guys, typical CF poster here. We should trade Scola because the new rules have clearly hurt him badly, his percentages are way down across the board.

I'd like to wait 66 games. He's never been mr clutch for us. We just need him to score for 3qtrs like last season. He should get out of his funk soon and someone can start another let's trade ????? He's done thread.

I'd fire Mchale before trading Martin. Martin's scoring has more value than anything a young asset can give us

Let's see where minny ends up in the draft. He may be consistent but he isn't rebuilding material. anyone who thinks we're going to win a ring with this group is definitely smoking some crazy cr*p. If you guys think Dwight is coming here then you are tripping on some awesome stuff and I beg you to share! This team is at rebuilding mode. No one is safe and I dare say even Lowry. Love our guys but I love a championship team more. Martin's days here are done whether we trade him now or draft night it is to be seen. We won't trade him for a bag of potato chips but we will trade to improve our future. This years draft is mighty nasty and I am loving Anthony Davis and Drummond. Those two are something to build on. Kevin Martin will only be good to acquire one of those two guys. Morey isn't going to rush the trade nut wait and see who has a higher pick so we can trade for them. This season was a losing season from the beginning. let's not make next season another. Martin and anyone on our roster for a sweet draft pick to get us our new building block. Trade now or later but I can't wait to see it happen.

I wouldn't mind being a third team in a trade involving the Nets and Magic if we got Brooks and didn't come away with Turk's contract.

I'm also thinking of lateral moves for k-mart..someone with scoring that needs a change in scenery...Ben Gordon comes into mind after seeing the other thread..but does he at least try defensively? another one is Stephen Jackson..or Nick young if we want to be a little bit younger..

Sigh, try to keep up Sammy dear.

I wanted him traded during last season when his value was high because he was a one way player......and we had 2 way options in CLee.

we need to package him with scola for someone or something of good value... i know minnesota would LOVE martin so if we could get randolph, beasley and a protected future first(since they dont have one this year)... scola for some picks or quality young players... I HONESTLY think lee is better then martin... he plays WAAAY better defense and i cant see why he couldnt average 15ppg... which isnt far off martins career average of 18.something... he'd probably have better rebound and assists numbers as well...

im on the trade martin/scola bandwagon/team and im yelling to go faster.....
