Well we are in last place in the Western Conference but on the bright side it looks like Lowry has really stepped up his game and might be a legit all-star for years to come. Considering there are many pro tankers out there are you happy with the way the season has played out so far ?

its either keep losing and get good draft picks or bounce back and make it to the playoffs

Yup. Most teams that end up with high picks are borderline unwatchable. I'm really liking how the Rockets stay in the game, for the most part. Coach knows how to close *hint hint*.

The past few seasons has really tempered my reaction to the Rockets losing. Now that there's a strong draft coming up I really don't mind. I hope we develop our younger players and get a high draft pick because face it, even if we do make the playoffs, our team is not going to win a championship as of right now.

I am not happy with our record. 3-7 is far too good. I wish we were 1-9.

That would make me feel a lot better.

i remember morey saying in an interview if we made it 3-7 through the first ten games wed be in the playoff hunt like we were last year... if 4-6 we would be a contender... 2-7 we would be in trouble....

Heres to wishing we were 2-7......

Of course I hate knowing the Rockets suck donkey b**ls. I would love for this to be 2004 again. Yao getting awesome. Tmac just coming in fully healthy and fired up. But yeah... Not happening. It is rebuilding time and if it means we gotta suck so we can get another Yao or Hakeem then we have to do just that. Happy...no... but no one is happy to take their nasty tasting medicine.

    Could careless.

I want to see a young player that has leadership demeanor other than lowry.
I'm still waiting for Patterson to be that player but you know how he is right now. :(

worst poll ever. Well, maybe not, but pretty bad.

3-7 after the schedule we've played is pretty understandable, I think, considering our state of affairs. Would we like the team to be better? Sure.

Tanking is never the answer. You have to have more respect, for yourself, your team mates, your opponents, the league and the game itself, than that. Pick order isn't guaranteed, and the picks don't always pan out, and guys getting paid millions to lose on purpose trying to finesse the system into some undeserved talent windfall is lame.

No, I'm not happy with how the season has played out so far. But I want the Rockets to keep fighting. I don't want the Rockets to be dead last even if it means high lottery pick. IMHO, I want the Rockets to win as many games as possible, even if it means getting the 14th pick again.

What I want, though, is for Morey to get a quality, or even a superstar player if possible, with whatever pick he will get for the next draft (I know chances of landing a star player is higher if we tank, but still...). Or better yet, I want Morey to trade for a superstar player before the deadline (fingers crossed).

On a side note, I am still curious how Morris will pan out once, or if, he joins the Rockets rotation. I will not be surprised if Morris will be a star player once given adequate playing time.

I'd put at least a couple of the losses on McHale...in fairness it might be that any new coach without a regular training camp would have problems. Let's see what happens in this next stretch. I look for substantial improvement.

Needs another option. At 3-7 with our schedule and little training camp, that's pretty good. Although Martin has been a huge disappointment.
