    Meh, the starters are just the most popular players, if Lowry continues to play well he will make it as a reserve.

    Yao has less followers on twitter than the number of votes Lowry has gotten, the Yao effect is overrated.

    Keep voting for him but his only chance is as a reserve.

    Kyle Lowry absolutely should make the All-Star team, he is playing amazing basketball right now and it doesn't look like he is going to drop off.

    He is 3rd in Assists, 3rd in steals, 1st in rebounding among pgs (with a whopping 6.8 compared to rondo's 4.9), and still shooting efficiently amongst guards.

    Honestly, in my opinion he is statistically the 3rd best PG so far this year as far as point guard abilities are concerned, but I expect him to fit into second place behind Paul in that respect over the next few weeks.

    That is debatable......... I didn't follow Rubio closely to watch how good his D is. I know he has size over Kyle but Kyle is such a bulldog on D.

    You obviously haven't seen many Rockets games this year. Kyle has the most asissts per game out of any PG in the league right now.

    Kobe and Paul deserve to be there over Lowry, and the voters got that right and they'll start. There'll be 3 reserve guards. I think it'll be tough because there's some solid veteran guards that coaches could go with -- Nash, Ellis, Westbrook, Parker, Ginobili, Billups. Lowry has the stats to compete but maybe not so much the reputation. I think it'll depend a lot on the Rockets' record when the coaches make their picks.
