I understand it's war and not some formal event. Crazy and often horrible **** happens.

However, considering our prescence in Afghanistan involves as much handling PR and looking good as it does actual combat, I think this hurts our objective.

 

Sending thousands of infantry is good for destroying stuff but terrible for COIN operations which really needs SF.

 

If I understood the acronyms correctly, I concur.

 

That is of course true, I don't know we trained our soldiers to be this stupid, taking a video of this whole incident and post it on the web.
