This is all seriously cool, Isabel. Having been the guy in this dance twice with my S.O., I know a bit about it, especially since I spent months as Mister Mom both times. Our first was a boy, and now he's working on his engineering degree out of state, with about a year to go, and our daughter is in her second year of high school. That stuff is a ways down the road for you two, but it isn't too early to start socking it away for college. Yeah, even before he pops out! ;-D- Get the best vitamins you can find. I bought them, being "the vitamin guy," at Whole Foods. Went in and told them, "Give me the best pre-natal vitamins you have!" Both our kids weighed 8 pounds+, and if you saw how little my S.O. is, or had a gander at me, you'd see how remarkable that is. Again, get great vitamins and have a good diet, because it truly works wonders. Good luck! Your life is now over as you've known it. Freedom's just another word for not being a parent, and that's not all bad. -
congrats, Mrs Smeg had a rather smooth pregnancy, i'm sure she be happy to chat more about when we are over in a month, all in all parenthood is awesome
Hope all continues to go well. My oldest daughter was due on May 11 but actually arrived on April 16th.... so be ready! I was talking to my youngest daughter at bedtime a couple of nights ago. Somehow we got onto the subject of her being born and she termed it "being pooped out." I came back at her: "Is that why you have always been a little ****?" We cracked up uncontrollably for about two minutes... enjoy your child(ren)....
How about just "the baby"? That's not difficult. And, it's NOT suspense at all... it's just patience. "Suspense"? What is this, a movie with Rebecca DeMournay?
Really? You don't think people should know the sex of their babies until they pop out? On second thought, this doesn't surprise me at all.
I missed this thread, but congrats Isabel...since the birthday boy will be the same as mine I'm sure (4/28).. I think it is only fitting you name it "roxran" ...I would be honored.
