Kyle's not going to be an all-star if his teammates keep costing him 10 assists and causing 3 turnovers for him each game.

Last night he could have had 20 assists and 3 turnovers and 10 steals had things gone his way.

He's had a great start to the season. That 9.7 APG number is inflated by his crazy 18 assist game. At the end of the year that number will be more like 7-8. He won't continue to average 7 RPG. He's only 6'0". Most pertinent of all is his 14.0 PPG, hardly All-Star material coming from a team 3-6.

    Ask again in 3 weeks.

Have in mind that he has spent three 4th quarters on the bench because of blowouts. And that yesterday he was coming off an injury. And that Scola and Martin have been missing too many normal shots in them.

I can see him averaging around 10 assists with his current usage... With the current roster he's capable of doing 14/15 - 9/10 - 6 - 2.

Westbrook is just scoring.... 18.8 ppg 5 ass 4.5 rbs 4 TOs is borderline allstar material, shooting an abysmal 0.43 from the field, 0.175 from three

    Nash's number 0.50 pct FG, 0.35 3pt 12 ppg 1.7 rbs 9.6 ass 3.2 TOs

    Top 5 Underrated Players:

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7458597/kyle-lowry-ty-lawson-most-underrated-players-nba

    [rquoter]
    Kyle Lowry, PG, Houston Rockets
Among the most physical players at the position, Lowry is arguably the strongest point guard in the NBA. His wide, muscular physique and deceptive quickness make his bowling ball-style penetration a nightmare to guard. This season, the sixth-year veteran has shown improved court awareness and polished his mastery of the drive-and-kick, as well as finding 3-point shooters with well-placed skip passes.

After nearly three weeks, Lowry is unexpectedly ranked third in assists with 9.4 per game. His season averages of 15 points, 9.4 assists and 6.8 rebounds mean he's on triple-double alert nearly every night. Further, he's one of just four point guards averaging at least six assists and 1.9 steals. In an age of hyper-talented franchise lead guards, it could be tough to keep the blue-collar Lowry off the All-Star team.[/rquoter]

Wasn't always a Lowry fan but he has proved me wrong. If all things being equal or fair he should be a All Star this year.

I'm kind of worried about his minutes. I really don't want him burned out for what looks to be somewhat lost year. He really should just keep it at 30-35mpg. He is by far the most valuable Rockets given his contract and play. No need to push him hard until if and when we get enough pieces to truly contend.

Lowry is close to a triple double almost every game. Vote him IN!

Couldn't every player in the league do this if everything went their way?

And Lowry is shooting an even more embarrassing .422 from the field, so what?
