I dont know why. But I can tell you Twolves do not have a pick this year and it would be in their best interest to make the playoffs.

I can see this trade happening. Since Orlando has said they would have taken the trade that NO missed and NJ really wanting Dwight.

    NJ gets

Dwight, CLee, + Fillers from orlando

    Orlando Gets
Scola, Martin, Hill, Flynn+ nj 1st round pick

    Houston get
Marshon Brooks, Lopez, Okur, Turk+ 2nd rd Orlando pick

I am not sure how the salaries work but probably have to add Bud
NJ would have to send out some more.

Then houston would amenisty Turk or Thabeet to get salary relief.

I really like Marshon Brooks and Lopez would be a good Center, Okur can play the 5 and shoot the 3.

3 years left on turks contract is just stupid. If I understand amnesty correctly, thats 3 years Les would have to pay him. Just nasty business.

I dont understand why you guys give volunteer our players for a trade but we still take the hasty contracts. Whoever gets the star gets the nasty contract. It wouldnt even be worth getting our pick back from Nets.

I dont know about you guys but I would take the risk of having DHoward on our team even if just for half a term.

Dhoward and Ryan Anderson for Martin and Scola straight up.

    Lee starts, Pat starts.

Martin and Scola for Granger. IP has enough cap to eat up the rest of the salary.

Think about how much we were having to pay for just Pau Gasol. That's not going to happen for Howard, even as a rental.

Also, you can't just have ryan Anderson as a throw in during his break out season.

LOL- Yea Ryan Anderson is actually dominating and playing very well off of Howard. He has big value right now.

Orlando has literally nothing I want other than Howard and I wouldnt take Turks contract to bring on Howard for half a year
I like the idea of NJ/Hou/ORL deal though if we could come away with Lopez. Lopez/Patterson could be decent.

NJ really needs to provide depth for Deron if they strike out on D12.

    Lopez+Filler for Martin/Scola/Budinger/Hill.

    Lopez/Dalembert
    Patterson/Morris/Adrien
    Parsons/Morris/Williams
    Lee/Williams
    Lowry/Dragic

You can only use the Amnesty Clause on players on your team before the last CBA expired.

I think that this would be a great trade from Houston's standpoint and I would send Bud out as well. We start the rebuilding process off by getting away from Martin and Scola's contracts, send out underperforming 09er's in Hill and Flynn, and even Lee would hurt but would demand a contract after the season. Wouldn't have to worry with the amenisty on Thabeet cause he has a team option just decline. Okur is expiring, extend Lopez and get a steal in Marshon Brooks. Yes Turk has a contract through 2013-14 but it is non-guaranteed in 2013-14 so basically it's paying him $11,815,850 next year which Houston could very well amenisty him. Bring over Motiejunas and Llull and draft picks next year, possibly Kidd-Gilchrist and Leonard!!

    Lowry, LLull
    Brooks,Williams
    Parsons, Morris
    Patterson, Motiejunas
    Lopez, Dalembert

Yeah I was thinking i the same line you were on this trade.

Marshon Brooks would be a steeal. we would have a pretty good offensive line up and all of the players we come away play D. unlike martin.... already a huge upgrade in that area.

I think everyone makes on this trade also,

NJ gets dwight, adds a Sg that they really need as well as Dwights Good friend, a good way to keep him happy.

Orlando gets a solid team that could make the play offs but they would have to make other trades due to the number of players coming in. But they get a few picks to make their future brighter. They get another PG because Nelson is sucking bad.

Houston cashes in, Gets a 2nd rounder because Morey is good at finding gems there. Marshon is already an impact, we get a center. We have a good size now and we could play D.

If Orlando sends out Dwight, they will get a C back.

Be it Lopez or Andrew Bynum...

Yes that maybe true but with this trade they would have enough other assets to pull off a trade for a servicable center.

They wouldn't need a jrichardson, JJ redick, Larry Huges, and other to use in a trade for a good center. Not to mention they have many other players that can play C.

Davis, Orton, Harper that could all play C.

What Center could be had for J Rich, JJ Redick, etc.? If Dwight gets traded, Orlando will get a Center in return.

Oh, and I wish there was a way to sticky the Amnesty Rule to each page of this thread. People have the wrong idea about it.

Anyone else think Martin could net Noah? He's not been getting crunch time minutes with Asik and Gibson taking them and they're still in dire need of a legit two guard to go with Rose.

Highly doubtful. I think it would take more than solely Kmart to even start talking.

I one that really want the Rockets to re-build to get this team out of mediocrity. To start that we'd need to send out Martin and Scola. Try and trade with teams with multiple 1st rd picks in this years draft.

trade 1: Scola, Hill, Bud to Celtics for J. O'Neal, Dooling, Daniels 1st rd. pick '12
trade 2: Martin, Morris to Jazz for A. Jefferson, 1st rd. pick '12

    That Makes a Line-up of
    Lowry, Dragic, Flynn
    Mayo, Daniels, Dooling
    Parsons, Williams
    Jefferson, Patterson, Adrien
    Dalembert, J. O'Neal, Thabeet

4 1st rd picks and 2 2nd rd picks which would obviously be packaged to move up in the draft to get 3 players. Dragic, Daniels, Dooling, O'Neal as expirings, Decline team options on Flynn and Thabeet. Picking up team options on Williams and Dalembert. Adrien non-guaranteed and Lee restricted(should extend contract).

draft night trade Jefferson, Patterson, Williams for Bosh and a late first in '12
hopefully drafting the likes of Drummond and Kidd-Gilchrist bring over our two guys from overseas.

Starting: Lowry, Lee, Kidd-Gilchrist, Bosh, Drummond
    Bench: Llull, Parsons, Motiejunas, Dalembert

    Definitely dream scenerio :)

According to this article. Love may not commit to sign a max extension with the timberwolves. So if Love decides to enter free agency Derrick Williams is gonna be the starter. But if he does stay. This trade may be possible :)

I think in order to get Noah we have to give up Dalembert, Hill, martin and draftpicks. The bulls are great on defense when noah is in the game. So most likely they won't trade him.

    1) Celtics are searching for young talent, and we wont tie themselves with Scola' 4 years contract for Hill alone.
    2) Morris hasn't proved himself yet... Even if his talent turns out to be avg 14th round picks, I believe Utah would rather to utilize its own pick which is around 12th ~ 16th as well. And Martin for Jefferson alone is not going to attractive to Utah in anyway...

I did say dream scenerio but your right maybe something like this would be a little more appealing and believable.
trade 1: Williams, Hill, Budinger to Celtics for J. O'Neal, Daniels 1st rd. pick '12
Boston gets young talent and a better bench
trade 2: Martin, Parsons to Jazz for A. Jefferson, 2nd rd. pick '12
Jazz get more scoring in the backcourt and free up time for Kanter and Favors

    Line-up of
    Lowry, Dragic, Flynn
    Lee, Daniels
    Morris, Adrien
    Scola, Patterson, J. O'Neal
    Jefferson, Dalembert, Thabeet

3 1st rd picks and 3 2nd rd picks which would obviously be packaged to move up in the draft to get 3 players. Dragic, Daniels, O'Neal as expirings, decline Flynn and Thabeet, pick up Dalembert team option. Drop Adrien extend Lee.

draft night trade Dalembert, Patterson, Scola, Boston 1st rd '12 for Bosh.
draft Kidd-Gilchrist and Leonard(Morey likes the guy) bring over our two guys from overseas.

Starting: Lowry, Lee, Kidd-Gilchrist, Bosh, Jefferson
    Bench: Llull, Morris, Motiejunas, Leonard
