It seems strange but he might spike interest in football among certain segments of the populace who are not generally football fans. There are a lot of people on my facebook who never post about football, but love a good "They persecute us because of our faith" story that have been cheering Tebow on the last few weeks. I don't know if these folks are actually watching games or just waiting to read the score, and if the Broncos win posting "See what the Lord can do!" It is an interesting phenomenon to be sure, and I will be joining the celestial chorus rooting for him this weekend, cause I want the Texans to have another home game.

Lol true Funny thing is I was bashed on the Atlanta Falcons message board for making a trade for Tim Tebow thread:grin:
Meanwhile John Elway is too busy prepping to draft a QB to attend a sacrificial ceremony in Foxboro .:grin:
Can't make comparisons as they are not in the same league...Cam is a just a good fantasy QB Tebow brings wins
If Tebow played for Carolina the would not bring the wins. Cam Newton led the Panthers to the top 5 scoring offense, but yeah it's Cam fault he isn't bringing wins.
These same Facebook people have been polluting my news feed with bull**** like that as well. They even tried to use the NFL having a ban in putting words on their face during games as some sort of prosecution against Christians. It was the reason why he threw for 316 apparently.
