"Just finished a successful surgery on my ankle, thank you Lord for having it not a serious injury I will be back on the court soon thanks for everyone supporting me" This is via his facebook just 20 minutes ago. I guess there is no timetable since he said "soon". Although the way that GSW handles him... that could be tonight.

Sprained my ankle really badly February of 2010. When I limped into the orthopedic surgeon the next day, I asked if it was broken. He said it would be better if it was, even though it wad only my first bad sprain. I wore an air boot for about 2 months then started rehabbing. It still clicks and occasionally feels congested and I haven't hooped in a year. It took about 4 our 5 months before I trusted it for more than walking. The main fear about this type of injury is if you resprain, the tendons and ligaments become loose and you can never trust them again, because they don't tighten back into form. I worry about these guys coming back too soon like Steph and Bud.
He needs to sit out until his ankles are fully healed. If that takes a whole season so be it. If he doesn't heal properly these ankle problems could seriously derail his career.
