Employers requiring credit reports - what's the point of this? You apply for a position, they email back and say they want an interview, but first click this link so we can run a credit report on you. The link given is not even a real website, but it has a # attached to it (referral looks like), and it redirects to one of the we-say-we're-free-but-not-in-the-fine-print credit check websites. I assume they're getting paid per click? Or are they working for the site that wants to take my CC#? Insisting I don't send them "sensitive information"... yet sends a scammer link. I hate people who do that ****. I guess I'm just trying to understand the motivation.
Don't forget to mark those ads as spam. They probably get a percentage of the revenue from each person they sign up with their referral link.
Be sure to give them whatever they request. Social, bank account/routing number, credit card info, date of birth. Give them all of the information they request. Companies only want to hire people that are obedient and now how to follow directions.
They aren't real jobs. These are people working for CPA networks. CPA stands for cost per action, so if you sign up at credit report website, the guy in romaina or india who sent you to that site gets paid. FB, I'd recommend not looking for jobs on craigslist. Start here, Ramit is a genius: http://iwillteachyoutoberich.com
Yup, I did exactly that a while ago and now have the best job I've had in my life, and am in the best shape in 40 years thanks to Bowflex.
i just posted a job on craigslist and i get equal amounts of spam from people looking for jobs. so i guess it runs both ways lol.
