I do agree with this. The fact is that Drake has all this mainstream radio success going for him I doubt most of the radio listening groupies will care. It's too late for Drake to leave it alone, he already responded and the ball is in his court and he better come back strong too.
If you think Common is a better rapper than Drake, then you should stop wearing your nephew's clothes , tryin to be hip before you break your hip...
This is how you end someones career. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Yk8p-py275s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=213333 see ^^^ LOL No but seriously, Drake is young (still 25 or younger I think) and "So Far Gone" was a mixtape that nearly won him a grammy. His latest album has a lot of the same mix of hardcore (somewhat, see HYFR*) and the lovey dovey sh** the ladies adored from his mixtape. The guy has skill but is far from a legend, same goes for Common. I like both these guys therefore it will be interesting how this all plays out.
Common vs Drake makes no sense for Common. Drake is too popular with the pop crowd that it really doesn't matter if he "loses", because he will sell more records (and "win") As for Drake, he's a decent rapper. His flow is okay, his rhymes are okay. Not a lot of good doubles or triples, but okay. Not that Common is on KRS's level, but KRS battled with Nelly and even though KRS had the better battle track, Nelly "won" because his verses got heard and KRS doesn't move as many records.

Damn that dude has fallen of the map. Had talent and some solid tracks, guess he never got a decent deal.
True....This is why Drake didnt respond to Ludacris's dis track...Luda still can move units and would verbally assault him... Drake is no battle rapper by any stretch... This is why I wouldn't even address Common in the 1st place... Its like the Steelers losing 59-10 to the Manning-less Colts and talking **** just because they're the Steelers... Look at the scoreboard!!!!!.... Drake- Hot right now Common- needs Kanye/stick to movies Drake wins...LOL
I don't know about all that. Common made his own way long before Drake was on TV. If Common's album with Nas comes out (which it probably won't), it will be hot. Drake won't want it with Nas.
You have no idea what you're talking about. On the thread topic, I like seeing this side of Common again.
Drake? Common? Rap? Beef? Seriously?! These two aren't rappers first of all and second they should be "singing" duets together. This is how it's done if you're gonna beef. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/U5yFoeAaG8Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Common murked Drake on his Stay Schemin remix. I HIGHLY doubt Drake can come back from this he doesn't have it in him. But really though Drake is in and Common is just trying to hang out to the limelight. Common "won" this beef but Drake is "winning" at life/career so Drake should just ignore this and move on.
Haha nice, best part of that picture is that you can see birthday cake on the table. Everyone was laughing eating cake- "Cube let me get a picture" "Wait wait hold up, let me get the AK"
im not goin go to insult u guy....but common is a rap legend, drake doesnt have a rap defining album or song. drakes best album was a mixtape, after that he just became an entertainer/rnb singer.
