1-- Kyle Lowry 2- Courtney Lee 3- Terrance Williams 4- Luis Scola 5- Samuel Dalambert Sub patterns could vary with the opponent: 1- Dragic against anyone 2- Kevin Martin is "instant offense" 3- Bud/Parsons 4- Hill/Patterson 5- Thabeet/Hill It's crunch time. We need to find out what these young guys can do so throw 'em in the water. That starting lineup raises the intensity level of our starting lineup. Thabeet needs to be the first 5 off the bench unless there is some peculiar matchup that calls for Hill. That should be rare. Martin is a fabulous scorer albeit inconsistent. I'd ship him off to a contender in this youth movement if a good deal comes along. Same with Scola; there is nothing not to love about Scola but at some point someone may need him more than we do and so make us an offer.... T-Will is the real leap here. Why the hell not? Give him a shot at holding down the spot. Tired of the "safe-playing." I "love" the Rockets more than any one player. I went to their very first game in Houston-- that's more than 40 years ago. **** I feel old now....
You do realize, don't you, that the rotation above would be a season-changing adjustment? I guess I've hit on perfection because no one has a better idea....
You think hill would do a better job at the forward than patterson? Where would Morris fit in? As much as I like the idea, I don't know how martin would like being a bench player. Unless it was a 6th man manu ginobili type bench player. He might completely lose all morale.
I agree with you on everything except the Power Forwards for the bench. You have Jordan Hill over Patrick Patterson. It should be the other way around. Jordan Hill has already shown us how he plays and he's really bad. While on the other hand Patrick Patterson is still showing us improvement. So if I were you I would put Patrick in front of Jordan Hill. But thats just me
Martin NEEDS to start along with Lowry. He needs someone to set him up with open shots. Other than that, I agree with your lineup.
Hasheem Thabeet is 7'3-7'4. So he cannot play PF. And Jonny Flynn hasn't shown the Rockets anything except the fact that he ball hogs. i dont know what wrong with Kevin Martin but he isn't playing good at all this year. Chase Budinger isn't either. Both play terrible defense. Jordan Hill can't rebound or score. The lineup you chose is terrible. These 5 people cannot play defense. Jordan Hill plays defense like Amar'e (which is really bad). Thabeet plays defense like a guy with no legs. Martin and Bud play college defense. And Jonny Flynn is ok but not terrible. I'd say the starting lineup of the Rockets should be Kyle Lowry at point gaurd (when he comes back), Courtney Lee SG (when he's back), Terrence Williams SF, Luis Scola PF and Samuel Dalembert at Center.
Lowry, Tebow Martin, Lee Granger, Parsons, Morris Drummond, Montejunas Howard, Hakeem -Trade Scola, Bud, Dragic for Dwight. -Trade 09 draft busts to move up in 2012 draft to get Drummond -Convince Howard to sign long term if Hakeem comes out of retirement to back him up -Trade rights to Sergio Lull and Dalembert for Danny Granger -TEEEEBOOOWWWW.... Morey can make it happen.
Lowry - Martin - Parsons - Scola -Dalembert small ball bench Dragic - Courtney - Terrence Williams - Budinger - Patterson not a fan of hill , id rather have adrien
I think that Patterson will eventually overtake Hill, but I just want Hill to be successful. I'm sure that Patterson will be. I want all these assets to mature! Probably might put Parsons ahead of Bud. I'll deal with MMorris when he's called back up. And then there's Greg Smith....
