No he is not. He is a good GM, done a fine job, but would not say he has enough of a track record to be called the BEST yet. He might get there, but he hired McHale, and that alone is a fairly questionable call. DD

I don't think it's time to fire Morey, but I do find it ridiculous that so many people still view him as some kind of savior or super GM. Not saying he's a bad gm, but it seems a bit crazy that people continue to say things like "In Morey We Trust." He's been with the Rockets for 5 years now and I don't see any reason to label him as some kind of genius that's above not taking some blame for the situation we're in.
