http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/44319-teaxans-ravens-playoffs/ For those who want to read what the other side thinks of us.
Conventional wisdom says no we won't win... But sooner or later the Texans are gonna break through against the Ravens. They should have beaten them last year at home. And they had a chance this season until the game slipped away in the fourth. Next week...next week is our time to break through the wall.
Arian got shut down in the first game. But he also got shut down in Cincy and was able to explode today. The Texans defense didn't hit its stride until after the Baltimore game (where it didn't play well). Rice ran all over us and Flacco threw for 300. I don't know if it'll be enough to win, but if the D can step up like they did today (first few drives not withstanding), this will be a much closer game than the one we played in October. I'd love to pick the Texans, but the realist in me says Baltimore 20, Texans 17.
Ravens-24 Texans- 10 Yates has never faced a defense like Baltimore in his life...this isn't going to be pretty...
When in Las Vegas last August, I put a C note down on the Texans to win it all at 40-1. So far so good!
The poll should've been I truly think the texans will wil I truly think the ravens will win I picked the texans because I'm a homer
Texans have their "mojo" back. It is hard to beat a team twice in a row, despite the fact the Texans just did it. The Ravens have been very inconsistent. I think they will be overconfident in this one. The Texans should play loose, they are not expected to win, so just go for it. Kubes (and he may not) should just let it rip. I would fill the sky with balls to multiple receivers and then after you have run the Ravens all over the field I would pound them with Foster and Tate. And please, please throw Tate a pass, nobody in the world will expect it. Texans in a shocker of an upset by one point. Maybe ESPN will give the game a minute or two, they only seemed interested in the Lions/Saints game tonight.
