It brings me great happiness to write this: Who wants to watch the Texans in the playoffs? I was thinking that some of us here in Austin could get together on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. to watch the Texans win! Maybe at the Tavern or somewhere centrally located. Who's in?
I think I'll be in a padded room on Saturday for my own safety. With SHSU in the National Championship game at noon and then the Texans at 4, I need to probably not be around people.
Lavaca street bar has become the official watch party site for the texans. I will probably be heading there.
Hey I'm going to be a wreck as well but would love to hang with some other fans for this historic game. The Tavern is me and the wife's usual game spot anyways, so we'll likely be there unless I decide to say **** it and pick up some tix to the game. Also, I've never been to Lavaca but am willing to try it if it's a good atmosphere.
but the all you can eat pizza and don't forget it's always fun dodging bullets while trying to walk to your car afterwards.
There is a big group of Texans fans that meet at the Lavaca Street bar for Texans games. Its kinda known as the official gameday home of the Texans in Austin. My friend who lives there actually started the group threw facebook and after a couple games, the house was full rest of the season. So big that the Texans send party packs of merchandise. Should be crazy this saturday!
what are you talking about man? they have new booths and chairs/tables. I think they spruced up the place quite nice. You can catch me there with a mountain of pizza on my plate
Yep I will be there with my wife and some friends that happen to be in town this week from Houston. My wife and I are both really tall...just look for the 6 foot blonde chick. I'll probably be wearing an Xbox t-shirt. You should be able to spot us .
