No there isn't. No one in serious contention for the seat is going to change a damn thing. Whether it's a new president or the old one, nothing significant will change... at least not for the better.

Your boys have failed to do much of anything in years, other than prevent legislation that would even benefit the most extreme of the right side.

Obama has conceded way more than he should have to compromise and to appease republicans.

If anyone is changing anything for the better, it has been the Dems.

Yep, because their dead or retired or lost their election. But I consider myself a centrist.

Prophetic statement though with the rise of Mohamed Al Santorum. However he missed on the whole Domino Theory thing.

In other words, you have no answer to a quote from a conservative Republican that ran for President of the United States after getting his party's nomination, a man revered by Ronald Reagan. I guess Reagan's opinion doesn't matter one iota. After all, he's dead.

Honestly, you guys aren't even trying to argue your positions, are you. Responses like are yours and basso's are simply pathetic.

By the end of tomorrow morning's debate one of two things will have happened. Either Romney will have sewn up the nomination or he will have had explosive diarrhea all over the stage, like the kind that gets on everything, even bouncing off the stage and flicking spittles of **** on the faces of the moderators. And then it's anybody's ball game again, until... Republican voters look around yet again and decide, "Nah, I guess I'll still go with the diarrhea guy." Either way, Romney should have effectively wrapped things up before noon tomorrow.

As a registered Republican, I can't imagine anyone with an iota of intellect voting for one these candidates.

The bible beating has to stop. I wonder if any of the candidates have taken a Genetics or Anthropology course. I wish they were more openminded. Stop the bible beating PLEASE...

Looks like the anti-Romneys are going to hold one last stand, though it may be too late. Good things for them:

    1. Romney is slowly falling in the polls in NH. If Huntsman can steal some of his vote and he ends up with fewer votes than 2008, maybe it continues the narrative of his weakness.

    2. Newt & Santorum are good friends. At some point (maybe after SC), if one drops out and endorses the other, it might help consolidate that anti-Romney vote.

    3. All the Christian right groups are meeting this week to pick a candidate to rally around because they are tired of the vote splitting. If they can agree on someone, same thing as #2. I assume that's why Perry decided to stay in the race, hoping he can get that endorsement if Santorum flops in NH and they are not super-comfortable with Gingrich. Perry has the money advantage.

    4. Some super-billionaire that likes to spend money is going all in on Gingrich, throwing $5 million in attack ads on Romney in SC. And it might be personal, in which case they are just trying to destroy Romney. He apparently has many millions more he'd be happy to contribute if this works:

Could at least make things interesting for a bit longer instead of a coronation. It could also damage Romney going forward, though I think that stuff is overrated (we had the same issue with Hillary and Obama in 2008).
