    ^Really...

So Lowry is dominating the ball now and the team is crappier b/c of him and the new coach??? What about this thing about our leading scorer not getting no more free throws? Isn't that like half his game? People forget things didn't go smoothly for Rick Adelman too when he first started off here.

It is not about Lowry, it is about the predictability of a system that has ONE starting point.

Lowry has been playing great, but it makes it easier to defend when everyone else stands around and waits for him to create.

You kinda make it sound like all the team does is run 1-4 flat with Lowry. He doesn't set everything up every time. Guys still come off screens and cut to the rim. Maybe there's more Lowry and Scola pick & rolls but this is a pick & roll league and that isn't just one guy doing everything with everyone standing around.

so glad they implemented the new rules. before whenever martin got the ball you knew he was going to the FT line. it ruined the entire flow of the game and made it unwatchable. now games are going very smoothly with not many touch fouls.

The reason why we are worse is we lost Hayes. Our bigs and interior defense is actually worse than last season.

I still think Kevin Martin would be a very, very productive player with a guy like Howard backing him up in the paint and if he were bracketed by a guy at the SF spot that was a great defender, like Wallace or Kirilenko.

I think we should trade him to a contender. One, we continue to tank. Two, more ammo for a team to stop the heat. I still love kmart's game even if it's underappreciated by most here. So he can't defend...curry can't neither just plays passing lanes and ends up with three steals wow. Stoudamire psssh please. Martin needs to go to a team with a nice front line.

Martin has been killing me in my fantasy league. He's been a complete waste of a pick

They used to run the high post read and react offense, now, the ball is primarily in Kyle's hands.

Kyle is this team's Aaron Brooks but in a more pass happy way, he is dominating the ball.

If you are a catch and shoot guy that is fine, but he is the only one on the floor that can create a shot.....and it makes the team easy to guard.

    No. We just suck.
Sure there are times where we feel the hurt of losing the Adelman offense... but at the end of the day Kevin Martin is getting open shots; Bud is getting open shots; Scola is getting open shots; they are all missing.

Difference is that Scola goes to the post if his jumper is not falling, Bud and Martin can't create. Hill can't do anything. I'm still pissed that McHale goes to Dalembert to iso in the paint; he's a defensive shotblocker not an offensive powerhouse.

They lost Chuck Hayes and Brad Miller. That high post read and react offense didn't work so well last year without those guys on the floor. And if you're asking for Jordan Hill to be the PF and Thabeet to be the C, you can forget about running those sort of sets.

Yes. And we need Patrick Patterson at full strength too. He doesn't look right to me.

Yes this is true, but the offense worked better when all guysvwere moving and the ball was too, this is the old one man show offense, where one guy generates everything. Lowry is good, but that offense is not, too predictable.

Guys no longer cut they eait for the pass, instead of back door layups we get a plethora of jumpshots.

As i said Lowry's assist numbers will be way up and the team will be way worse.

No one should be happy with the performance of the offense or the defense this year. But I think we should wait for the schedule to even out a bit before definitely saying the team is way worse. Even under Adelman, we often got off to very slow starts.

He doesn't look as confident or aggressive as before though. That's something he needs to build; otherwise Chandler will remain the better option.

It takes time to come back from ankle surgery. Remember, Patterson didn't even get to participate on the court in the abbreviated training camp. He was literally thrown into the Memphis game THE DAY AFTER his very first practice. And without much practice in this condensed schedule, there's little opportunity for Patrick to round into regular season form, other than him just working his way in during game action.

Also, I can guarantee you that the coaching staff very much prioritizes getting Patterson to where he needs to be. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't even have played his first 3 games or so.

Parsons is nice, but McHale and company know that Patterson is one of their big building blocks.
