I know it doesn't mean a whole lot because its all supposed to be for fun(the all star game, that is), but there are some players, just like every year, that are gonna get snubbed.

The following players do NOT deserve a spot:
1.) Kevin Garnett- popular, but he is seriously declining
2.) Joe Johnson- please, just no.
3.) Al Horford- Honestly, i don't see how he makes the all star team, i understand that there aren't many good pf's in the east but, he's slightly above average, not an all star though in my opinion.
4.)Paul Pierce - has not played at an all star level so far this year, he's declining as well because of his age.

*by the way, i didn't list ray allen in the list because he's playing just as he has been playing the past few years, one of the most in shape guys in the nba.

    From the West
1.)Tim Duncan- one of, if not the best, pf of all time in many people's opinion. However, he is just not the same timmy
2.)Pau Gasol- has not been puttin up all star numbers at all...
3.) Manu Ginobli- He's injured so he might not play any ways, but even if he wasn't, dating back since last season, hes not deserving.

Feel free to agree or disagree with my opinion, and if you want, you can add people who DEFINETLY deserve a spot this year.

    I'll start that list...
    1.) Kyle Lowry

Still one of the 3-4 best defensive players in the NBA.... he has been and is one of the most under-rated defenders in the history of the game.

I really dont like Love making it. Dude continues to put up great numbers for a crappy team. A team should have to win a certain amount of games to have a player be selected from that team. That includes Lowry if the Rockets continue at this pace.

Boston getting more than 2 players. Rondo + one other should go.

    Undeserving:

    1) Tim Duncan: Great career, but he shouldn't be among the starters, and possibly even on the team.

    2) Pau Gasol: Popularity pick.

    3) KG and Paul Pierce: See Tim Duncan.

    4) Anyone from the Atlanta Hawks: Good players, but more deserving individuals out there, this season.

    Deserving:

    1) Kyle Lowry: He's been about the best point guard, so far this season, outside of maybe Chris Paul.

    2) Gerald Wallace: If he doesn't make the team the all-star game is a sham.

    3) Luol Deng

    4) Lamarcus Aldridge and/or Kevin Love

    5) Andrea Barganani: If he could be at least average on defense, he could easily be amongst the top 15 players in the league.

Forgot this one. He's been too erratic, this season.

I don't think Gasol will make it the way he's been playing. LA fans are starting to turn on his weak a**

Yao will make the team. But he'll bow out, out of humbleness.

I like the Rockets, but I stopped reading after I saw Kyle Lowry.

I agree on Duncan, and if Ginobili wasn't hurt he would defintley be in when he was averaging 20ppg in 26 minutes.

Quick question: Why is Harden listed as forward in the ballots? Don't get it.

What other point guard in the West, besides Chris Paul has played as well as Lowry?

Moreover, I'm not the biggest Lowry cheerleader on this board, but I cannot deny the production that he's put up over this year. Lowry's actual production challenges and better, most of the point guards who are considered the chosen 6 or 7 at that position.

I think DeAndre Jordan makes it. Just because he'll be on highlight reels and will acculumate garbage points off of missed alley-oops.
