How about the bad contract's of the 00's: C - Cato PF- Mo Taylor SF- Glenn Rice SG - Walt Williams PG - Moochie Norris See, this is why we can't fire Morey. He gets a lot of credit for shrews trades like the Lowry and Scola deals, and he gets beat up a bit for making mistakes like acquiring TWill -- however, what he has not done is sign terrible contracts that destroy the entire roster like the above deals made by Les Alexander. Stern may have set us back 3 years over the off-season, but Alexander set us back a decade with the contracts he gave out to the above front-court. Say what you want about Dork Elvis, but he would never have handed out those crippling deals.
What is really sad is that two of these players (in bold) were once considered the missing piece to our championship team.
