Sorry, but PAC MAN has fought better competition than Mayweather. Both fighters I think are getting past their prime. Age and issues outside the ring are taking their toll. Give me PAC MAN at his best over Mayweather at his best.

He will still destroy Pacquiao with ease. Just another reason for Manny to duck Money May.

There's no reason why this fight shouldn't happen on May 5th. Don't give me that cinco de mayo crap. People act like it's illegal for two non Mexicans to fight on may 5th. Mexicans love Pacquiao (when he's not fighting a Mexican). Pacman even said it himself after the Marquez fight, "may 5th, let's get it on" or something like that.

If it doesn't happen, i blame Arum. And Manny for not forcing the issue.

Myth... who has Mayweather really fought? Yes they both beat de la hoya, Hatton, sugar shane... but Manny fought fighters way bigger than him in Margarito and had an epic battle with one of the best in Cotto in his prime. Cotto by the way looks like he's back after the ass whopping he gave Margarito.

I would say the only plus for Mayweather on opponents is he dominated Marquez while Manny has had trouble with him.

Manny fought DLH, Hatton, Shane after Mayweather. I wouldn't even say Manny performed better; just that he goes more for kNDs. Hatton said Mayweather was better. Did you know Margarito used plaster and was exposed by Mosley?

Cotto is back, though. There isn't a substitute for Mayweather-Pacquiao bout but that wouldn't be bad.

Dude wtf you are all over the place. You completely avoided the question. I asked you WHO has Mayweather fought that you deem superior to any fighter Manny fought?

Who cares what Hatton says? He got his ass embarassed by a crazy knock out. Did you know Mosley said Pacquiao has power like he never felt before?

Also it's stupid to compare who did better. But if you want to play that game and wnated to compare who did better against DLH, Hatton, Shane and Marquez then I would score it 3-1 for Manny or maybe 2-1 for Manny and 1 draw.

DLH - Manny absolutely dominated DLH and made him quit and retire. Mayweather also dominated him but Manny definitely looked untouchable out there against DLH.

Hatton - Two knockouts in the first round and a huge knockout in the 2nd round that floored Hatton. You really want to argue mayweather had a more impressive showing here?

Mosley - Okay this one might be draw since I would hardly call the Pacquiao fight a real fight. It was more of a glorified sparring session. But Pacquiao did knock out Mosley and Mosley did hurt Mayweather early on in the fight.

Marquez - Clear winner to mayweather here.

See you even admit that Cotto would be an awesome fight and respect Cotto as one of the top fighters. Well Manny has already fought him. Who has Mayweather fought recently that is in Cotto's caliber in his prime???? You claim he has fought superior fighters yet you can't even name one.

WOW REALLY?? OMG... I DIDNT KNOW!!

oh and before anyone accuess me of being a Pacquaio fanboy I think Floyd would win against Pacquiao. He's a great fighter but the argument of him having fought better fighters than Pacquiao is ridiculous.

    No, you didn't. You asked:

You even answered your own question.

    I care.

    So what?

Like I said, Pacquiao actively goes for knockouts. Doesn't make him a superior boxer or his fights more dominant. Floyd was just as impressive.

He was coming off his first loss. Everybody was saying he wasn't the same fighter.

Then, what other reason would you have to bring it up other than to be an idiot?

Way to construe my words. Learn to read.

    Just for reference.

Mayweather fought De La Hoya at 154 pounds, a weight that put him at a disadvantage. De La Hoya chose the weight he was comfortable at. Not to mention DLH chose everything from the weight, ring size, and glove size. When he agreed to fight Pacquiao at 147 pounds, he hadn’t fought there in 8 years and was drained.

you could make a good argument for both sides to say that theyve had both weak opponents in their last 5-6 fights.

either way, mayweather UD's him on points easy.

the real fight is sergio martinez vs mayweather.
