The other day I was SKYPEing with my 4 year old grandson and out of the blue he told me I was going to die when I turned 90. That gives me 36 years, so I'm around for a while.
Goddamit. I have to spread rep around before sending you a request for popeye's email. We emailed for years then he stopped. I need it badly. We lost touch. I will see you in Houston for SmeggySmeg fest. You will give me popeye's email then. no? OK? I really miss him.
The oldest/fattest threads got me thinking about this. Well I'm glad it doesn't appear we've lost too many people. RIP Those mentioned in this thread...
There has to be a bunch of passed posters, just probably are like myself and don't really tell my friends about Clutchfans, so just one day they stop posting forever..
Thats what I was thinking. You wouldn't know if a poster died unless he has some really good friends on the board or a family member looked through your computer and found your account and decided to notify the community. So hard to say for sure...
Had the same thought, really depressing if you think how many good people probably died and you'll never know.
You know how if you dream about using the bathroom you wake up right away, because in real life you're about to piss yourself? I think dying is the same, but in reverse; after you lose consciousness you have a short dream about heavens or the cosmos, and then a horrific nightmare about a freezer, a box, a hole in the ground and rotting flesh.
Holy cow, Band Geek Monster. Haven't seen you around here in forever (though I must admit I don't monitor the boards near as much as I used to). Been lurking all this time or did you just decide to come back briefly to ask this question? Edit: well looking back I see you have been returned for a week or so and I am just now seeing it...uhh...welcome back!
