Cirilo Castillo, 41, was arrested on two counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of criminal trespass in Edinburg, about 10 miles north of McAllen. He was held on $60,000 bond at the Hidalgo County Jail, the newspaper reported. A horse owner said a video surveillance system caught Castillo in the act. From The Monitor: “Her video surveillance system had caught her neighbor entering her barn, tying her brown mare to a fence, tying her back legs together and then having sex with it.” Castillo admitted to having sex with the horse and also admitted to having sex with another horse at a different ranch, the paper said.
