    I doubt they even care about the Rockets or Lowry, we are a bug on their windsheild to a championship contention, not even an afterthought.

    More than anything that bugs me about the current state of the Rockets: we are IRRELEVANT! Not even a bug on the windshield.

    I thought Dalembert would help us significantly in a position of need. Guess I need to think this position again.

    That's how it is going to be for a few years with teams that are rebuilding. The Rockets rebuild started when they assembled all these young players together.

    Dalembert is a stop gap. He's going to clog up the middle defensively and grab rebounds. He's not a 20/10 guy. We have depth, but we lack the clutch player that is capable of commanding double teams. You put just one of the top 10 NBA players on this team, as it's currently configured, and we're top 4 in WC. Trade older assets for younger assets and try for a top pick in 2012 draft. Realistically, there is no other way. Have to find that star in the draft and have a team in place that he can grow with.

    Agreed. Just venting this morning. Having been a fan since the early 80's, I guess I took for granted that we would at least be in the playoffs every year (always an exciting time), so it is hard to just see light at the end of the never ending tunnel.
