I don't think the Demarcus drama is over yet, for what it is worth. So there is still hope.

 

Yep. The offense has to go through the big guys - Cousins and Chuck. Jimmer is perfect guy to have for kick outs. They need to build around Cousins and Jimmer then support them with pieces like Thornton and Hayes.

Those are the only 4 guys on the roster who have value. Salmons, Outlaw, Hickson and Thomspon are useless.

They should be able to land a solid piece in return for Evans and Hickson. Rudy Gay, Danny Granger?

Sorry to hear about the lay off, been there - lived through that, hopefully you won't have as long to wait as I did between jobs.

As far as Westphal, you could tell he lost the team - not one of them seemed to do anything he said... except maybe Jimmer and Chuck... okay and maybe Salmons and Garcia... but the rest...nope

I knew when all this crap came out about DeMarcus - and the fact that he didn't demand a trade so much as voice his frustration at the coach placing blame that Paul was gone.

The gave effort tonight... let's see how long it lasts. Apparently even before Westphal was fired Chuck and Garcia (how strange to put those two together - UL and UK working together???) scheduled a players only meeting to talk about the team.

We shall see how this all plays out.

 

I figure Westphal probably knew his time was shortly up. So he threw D Cousins under the bus to make peace with HIMSELF for his small bit of dignity.

 

Or he had had enough of Cousins and wanted to get fired so he'd get paid still.

 

21-19 is why coach vs player will not end well for a coach.
