So if I understand correctly, Lowry beaned her twice with the basketball? We've all seen his intensity on the floor, and that's what makes him enjoyable to watch, but I can't recall anything where he lost control of his emotions (am I forgetting anything big?). It is surprising to me.
I think it's hilarious how some people act like you know Lowrey on a personal level with the "i can't believe he'd do that to anyone " stuff
Imagine if this was Terrence Williams? CF would go nuts. Hopefully Lowry keeps playing at the high level he has been. I doubt he sees jail time for this.
It's not really whether you know him personally or not -- it doesn't seem to be a personal relationship issue, really. It was an incident in a basketball game. We all watch him 82 times a year in what would seem to be more stressful games.
Even if it's all true it's not any worse that happens at courts all over the city. She was not damaged and if Kyle had wanted to hurt her he would not have just thrown a basketball into her torso. Sounds like she is looking for money to me.
When a ref calls a foul that Lowry doesn't like during a regular game he has little to no reaction, so he seems to handle bad calls very well. Now we're supposed to believe he went H.A.M in an exibition game over a couple of questionable calls. (Don't believe)
Perfect timing to bring up these charges, huh...when he's getting attention for his play. He went to her and apologized for his actions and no one got hurt.
This part gives it a little more credibility. I'm guessing some money will be transferred and the issue will go away.
I don't want to sound like I'm condoning what Lowry (allegedly) did, but does anyone else think it's kind of funny? I'm probably just insensitive, but the image of Lowry getting pissed and whipping a ball at the ref, and then doing it AGAIN, it kind of makes me chuckle. The Delmon Young bat throwing video makes me laugh out loud too, for whatever that's worth.
