And the Clippers took decades of sucking and boatloads of high lottery picks to end up with this current team. If the Rockets operate like them my grandkids might live long enough to see us being noteworthy again.
So Rockets has won any championship in the past 15 years? at least now Clippers have a brighter future and we are still sucking. Keep telling yourself all the excuses you want, but that doesnt change anything.
Gordon was already better than Martin. He can't score quite as well, but he is definitely a shooter and he actually plays defense. I think he's better than Manu also. Top 3...hm...other than Dwade and Kobe I'm not really sure who else would be ahead of him. He's a bit better than Monta and again plays defense. Anyone I'm missing?
I don't know why you're even bringing this up. That franchise has been garbage forever, and we've been blowing them up for the past 2 decades. Yes, they have a better team now. It happens.
We just lost 2 franchise players that were supposed to have us set for the next 3-4 years due to injury. You really need a reality check. Better yet, why don't you go on the Clippers forums.
How can you say we JUST lost our 2 franchise players? We really lost them in 2008.....that was 3 years ago...
Did I just hurt your feelings? Saying Rockets suck now break your fragile little heart? GROW THE **** UP! Learn to accept the fact and deal with it. I dont need to go on to the Clippers forum to realise they are a better team now. I dont need to lie to myself about Rockets current situation in order to have a good sleep. We lost Tmac in 2009, we lost Yao in 2010 and this is 20-****ing-12. It's not like they won any championships so I dont give a **** about their absence.
It's all business till the superstar leaves them and then they be like "oh he's a douche". But is all good and gravy when gms treat them like assets.
Yao retired last year and they had anticipation that he'd play. That's the end of the cycle as far as I'm concerned. Even if it was 3 full years, you can't just pull a franchise player out of thin air if that was the case the Bobcats wouldn't be the suckfactory they are. For that matter neither would the Clippers have been for this long.
The Rockets aren't very good, you definitely didn't hurt my feelings. Doesn't make you any less of a tool. You're the reason why good posters avoid the GARM after a loss. The sky is falling wahhhhh, fire morey, trade everyone, wahhhh.
Maybe Gordon is looking at it wrong. I honestly think that the Clippers organization told him that no deal involved them a couple days before, and when the opportunity to get Chris Paul was presented, some things just had to be adjusted. I don't think they lied to him, but they had to do what they had to do. In other words, Eric Gordon should grow a pair. It's a business. You do what you have to do to get better.
What's with all the "didn't read, lol!" posts? That kind of **** makes me not want to come back here.
You obviously cant read properly. I didnt mention fire morey nor trade everyone. Rockets is not a good team right now and you know it. What are you trying to argue about? You are the one telling me to go to a clippers forum simply because I mentioned we got blown out by them, and now you are trying to make me the reason why good posters avoid GARM after a loss --- I guess you are not a good poster then? Learn to read, then we will talk.
Agreed. But I also understand his clinical state right now, If I had to go from the situation in LA to the one in NOLA, I'd be in denial as well. I think it will pass and no bad feelings will remain after awhile, he strikes me as the reasonable type.
