We should win. If we lose, it's because we f***ed up. Not because Cinci is a better team.

if the playoffs were easy, hof qbs with elite talent wouldn't go one and done. It's going to be tough, but the texans can get it done.

I'm going with 'It won't be easy, but we've got this.' Our team is better than Cincy so we just need to come out with intensity and focus and not let them take it from us. The game is ours to lose IMO.

Agreed; I think we should win and win easily, frankly. Cincinnati was 0-7 against 2011 playoff teams, including a home loss to us with TJ Yates making his first-ever road start. With Andre Johnson in street clothes. A good team does NOT lose that game. They just don't. Their season was on the line and they couldn't beat a 3rd string rookie QB at home? They're frauds.

I think Wade Phillips is going to punish Dalton, Foster is going to have a dominant afternoon and the Texans will win going away, a 21-10-like beating.

I just want 3 in a row to make up for the last 3...Obviously, if we do that ..this game would be the easiest, but there is no more easy. If I was a Steelers fan, I wouldn't expect a cakewalk either. . .

Man, this is the time we have waited for for so long...!

Mixed emotions. We sucked big ol' donkey balls to end the season, but it's really a pick-em game in terms of the matchup being fairly even.

I wouldn't sweat this. Once we lost to Carolina (which was wholly understandable - they're explosive and we were hung over) and our seeding was (more or less) locked in, I think Kubiak down-shifted into survival mode; I think his priority became avoiding any more significant injuries (which was also wholly understandable, given what's he's been through this year). Johnson didn't play; our defensive coordinator had surgery; starters were rested the final week...... they played with no urgency or purpose and it showed.

They'll be back in fighting shape this week.

I'm not so confident as everyone else. We barely lost in the regular season matchup and now they have legitimate film on TJ. Just hope AF is ready for this one b/c we need to RUN! the damn ball.

I think opposite, a loss would surprise me as we've gotten back all our injured (not on IR) players and coaches. We should be at next to full strength on both sides of the ball.

TJ has to stay out of long down situations and not turn the ball over, if we can generate some sort of running game the lanes should open for AJ and err Dreesen?.... I guess.

We've got film on 516 Dalton passes.

They've got film on 50 Yates attempts since the game in Ohio.

There was chatter immediately after we clinched that (despite public statements) Kubiak wanted to close up the playbook and hide Yates from scouts. If true, and it sure looked like it, it cost us a win or two, but effectively hid his hand.

I'm optimistic. I think a lot of folks have confused Kubiak's conservative gameplans (and Jacoby as a deep threat) for Yates' limitations. I expect he'll be able to come out throwing Saturday.

-In each game as a starter, his completion percentage has gone up.

-Yates has shown repeatedly that he can deliver when someone gets free deep, and this will be the first time in almost a month that he'll have AJ making that happen (ATL: 4 throws got Johnson 97 yards, and he dropped a perfectly placed bomb for 25+).

-He scorched the Bengals secondary for 300 yards, without AJ, in their house. And now, Kubiak's offensive staff has a better feel for what the Bengals' D likes to do.

I'd rather keep Thor in stead of Dreesen. Dreesen is fine but if given the choice. Other than that, all the pieces are back together (sans Schaub)...almost forgot bout Brisel - I feel great about it. . .

Wow, I see how that could have been beneficial during the playoffs but so would have homefield advantage for 2+ games, not just the wild card. But hey Kubes is Kubes and I wouldn't put it past him to play his hand that way.

I agree but I'm meaning that so far TJ's fave target has been Good Ole' Joel for the most part while AJ's been out, but I would love to have Casey back as the fulltime TE opposite OD, since they've been going with a lot of 2 tight end sets lately.

Regardless we need a win and another and another, so let's f'n GO!!!!

If we weren't on a 3 game losing streak I'd be pretty confident.
