If you're gonna tank, you need to tank in the right year. It can pay off to tank for a guy like Duncan, Dwight, or LeBron. Sensible sportswriters and analysts were calling Wall overrated before he was even drafted.

Most of the superstar talents (and all the ones u mentioned) are #1 picks... so with the lottery, even tanking doesnt necessarily give u the superstar u r targeting... but u might get Thabeet or Darko...

John Wall has only one great attribute right now. SPEED! He does nothing else well. If he is going to be a top 5 point guard, he is going to have to work on his game considerably.

Agreed. The kid's a cannon in the fast break, but he's got little to no real PG skills that I can discern. I can't even blame it all on Rashard and Andray at this point. He needs to increase his overall BBIQ or else he's got no chance to become a super-star pg.

Some of you are severely overrating Kyle Lowry.

I agree, they put him at franchise savior status coming in. Even now we have about 50 people saying he is better now. IF you watch his game now and in kentucky, his speed and size is special, he is unique athletic Pg, but his actual pg vision, skills, shot, decision making is almost all average. He has a good motor for steals but gambles as much as he is in success also alot reliant on athleticism. While rondo is a above average athletic player, but his footwork, awareness, timing, vision, and especially defense . The wizards are a disfunctional team, but they do have some talent, Andre blatche averaged over 20-10 for 2 months straight against a variety of teams when he first came, Mcgee is dumb but one of the most athletic Centers and Defense/blocks, you put chris paul or rondo with a guy like that and he would be pretty special. Nick young is a chucker, but capable of scoring 20 ppg in this league, jordan crawford is in efficient right now given he is young, but is definitely a rotation guy or possible a future winning team 6th man . I dont think you can blame his team, Walls flaws are obvious but the hype machine takes over
